I know that the sound is not considered all that complex, but this was one of the most convincing recreations I've heard. Nicely done.

Sequential Trigon-6. Two VCOs being used, with sawtooth and pulse waveforms for each VCO, max volume in the mixer. The LFO is used to modulate PWM on VCO1, while VCO3 is in LO KEYBOARD mode to modulate PWM on VCO2. Filter is using 2-pole mode, cutoff all the way up. Glide is enabled, with a short glide time.

Trigon - 6 Jump

This is a study of a method of generating chords from a single sine wave. Each note of a random melody gets divided into 8 new tones, comprising the first 8 undertones of that note. Plus a bunch of other modulation and stuff to make it sound good (at least to my ears). This is a recording of one "performance" of the patch, and is not edited or post-processed in any way. Made in VCVRack; not my first patch, but my first decent patch starting from scratch.
