Plus he’s invested in CarGurus, TripAdvisor… and he is the Founder & General Partner of Link Ventures and he’s also the founder of the startup incubator, Cogo Labs.

One might think that after all of this success, Dave would downshift and relax… but it is the exact opposite.  He has been waiting for this moment since he was 14 years old and that is the current platform shift to AI.

He studied AI at MIT back in 1984 and pioneered quantizing neural networks as early as 1992.  Needless to say… his time is now and he believes that it has the potential to be the greatest thing that ever happened to humanity. He wants to savor the moment and work to train and build faster, better, & smarter AI.

Suzanne Miller Corso approached me to compose original music for her Dance company at James Madison University, but wanted something similar to the Enya style.  This was difficult for me as I am not an ambient minimalist like Enya.  This was the best knockoff I could produce.  Unfortunately, I completed the work too late for it to be choreographed.  So now it is standalone music.

Composed specifically for the first dance in the wedding of SPF to TLIF on June 17 1995.  Quirky 5/4 bridge/solo section, but slow enough for many to not notice the odd numerator.

SPF The Wedding Song aka "In The Beginning"

My interpretation of the fascinating melody by Eddie Harris.  Composed for Stuart Hart and Inner Circle (Stuart never took the bait).  Highly influenced by what I heard Tom Hirshmann do with the same tune, especially the "inside out" bass line groove.  MIDI glitch at the end sounded cool so I kept it in. :-)

Created instinctively and intuitively by Marconi Union, Weightless has been claimed to have therapeutic properties in the way the track almost appears to have a heartbeat running through it which slows down very gently throughout the piece, encouraging a deep sense of relaxation in the body, It's use of specific rhythms, beep bass tones, frequencies and intervals induce an almost trance like state in the listener.
