G​lassnote Records is excited to announce that R​obert Delong’s new single, "L​ong Way Down," ​has been remixed by S​ean Glass.​The S​ean Glass Remix premiered March 21st on K​CRW as the kick-off to J​ason Bentley’s Metropolis r​adio show, and received its online premiere on Billboard on Monday. It will be up for sale March 31st, 2015, along with a full EP featuring more remixes of “Long Way Down” coming after. The original L​ong Way Down EP, f​ollow­up to his debut record, J​ust Movement,​ is currently available digitally everywhere.

Robert DeLong released J​ust Movement via Glassnote Records in 2013 to critical acclaim. D​eLong has since become a mainstay in the festival and touring circuit with his one­man futuristic dance party. His incredible live show has brought him across the globe and back, playing major festivals like L​ollapalooza, Coachella, Bonnaroo, SXSW, Sasquatch!, Ultra Music Festival, Reading and Leeds, Pukkelpop, Rock en Heim, Budweiser Made in America, Treasure Island Music Festival, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, Corona Capital, Splendour in the Grass, Groovin the Moo a​nd Stereosonic i​n Australia,​w​here his hit single “​Global Concepts” i​s certified platinum. DeLong’s sophomore album is set for release worldwide in late 2015.

Notably, this is S​ean Glass’ first release as a producer. Sean founded his label Win Music in 2013 and has also worked with Glassnote Records for a while, even involved in the A&R side of Robert’s music. Sean is otherwise known as a DJ, event producer, and avid wearer of scrunchies.

They are the artists I was thinking about most while making this.”

I was really excited to do this one. I’ve been following M.O since the inception because their management (and family!) are really good friends. I’ve always loved their vibe, because we clearly listened to the same stuff growing up. I felt like the best thing to do with this remix was to bring in another of my favorite’s from growing up--Artful (formerly Artful Dodger). I’ve become friendly with Mark Hill (aka Artful) since we commissioned the Duke Dumont “Need U 100% (Artful Bootleg).” I was talking to him the same morning that Black Butter sent me “Preach”, and I immediately hit them with my idea for the Two-Step Garage version! Other than that, I was also listening to some PC Music tracks, so I wanted to infuse some of their flavor into the vocal.

This is my favorite thing I’ve ever done. Flight Facilities are especially important to me, being my first signed artist. I look up to them as tastemakers and creators. 

The remix release has been made even more special to me because of recent events. We lost a good friend whom I looked up to--Dan Fredinburg. This past weekend, we memorialized Dan in a series of very special ceremonies I am so grateful to have been a part of. It was my privilege to play this track out for the first time at the party Dan instructed us to have, should he not return.
This week, there was another earthquake in Nepal. They really need our help. We have launched the Dan Fredinburg Foundation and already raised $100k. It only made sense that while I put effort into spreading awareness for my remix, I use that energy to help the causes that are really occupying my mind and heart--rebuilding Nepal and #LiveDan.

Sean Glass is a multi-hyphenate in the music industry. He currently works at Apple Music, building Connect and Content.

He founded his label Win Music in 2013 with the release of Duke Dumont's "Need U 100%," which debuted #1 iTunes and was Grammy Nominated. He's since released artists like Flight Facilities, Tiga, Anabel Englund, Human Life, ETML, Anna Lunoe, Audion, and Just Kiddin. As a DJ, he has played all over--EDC, Life is Beautiful, Governor's Ball, Mysteryland, and Coachella--where he actually programs one of the stages. While his New York warehouse parties have grown to over 5000 attendees, his smaller, non­traditional events have been covered in B​usiness Insider, Vice, Village Voice, ​and more. SG himself has been covered in N​Y Times, Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, Billboard,​ Mixmag and more. In 2015, Sean was voted #5 in Music Business Worldwide's Young Executive Shortlist

SG launched his production career in 2015 with remixes of Robert Delong's "Long Way Down" and Flight Facilities' "Down to Earth" which both reached #1 on Hypem. His first original, "We're All Friends," a collaboration with Jay xero, came out in 2016.
