Of everything i've written so far, this is one of my favourites. Not unusually, Dylan was an influence lyrically, though I don't think i've stolen anything from the great man. Written around Autumn 2012, sorry it took me 'til December 2013 to sit down and record it.

A song I wrote about a girl that I really cared about. Had the words of the story before I had a chord or a melody or anything. It ain't very metaphorical, the words are pretty literal, saw her go off on her holidays and a desire to write a song was born, pure and total concept,not like anything else i've written SG

Guess I Won't Be Seeing You (No More) (STUDIO VERSION)

Singer/Songwriter from Scotland. 25 years old. It's the old cliche but I wanna make it, I wanna be a successful singer/songwriter, it's my biggest passion and ambition. Currently gigging, currently recording too. I'm recording what will hopefully be my first EP. Apologies for this name-dropper thing but ' I WILL EVOLVE ' has been given airplay by Jim Gellatly. My stream right now is a split between live sem-acoustic front-room recordings and studio recordings. My biggest inspirations and influences are Noel and Liam Gallagher, Bob Dylan, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Tom Petty, Buddy Holly, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Johnny Cash, to name but a few, I could go on.... That being said, I reckon my songs are original and melodic in their own right. I love Americana sounds, bluesy and folksy sounds, jazzy sounds, psychadelia and dreamy sounds, depth, intensity and authenticity in songs and songwriting. That's what i'm trying to emote.
