At BLD, we like to think we know our stuff, so we're delighted to bring you the second episode of Killer Boogie (which melted the airwaves of myhouseradio.fm)

De Gama brings back his new project with Black Light Disco for its second outing, and for this one he has brought in the supremely talented DJ, producer and all round genius, LTJ X-perience. 

De Gama will be kicking the first hour off in style - laying down the law and taking no prisoners. There’s a lot packed into this hour, with tracks from The Reflex, Paul Older, Lego Edit plus many more (including one from the main man himself, LTJ.)

And in hour 2, De Gama hands over to that main man, LTJ X-perience - aka Luca ‘LTJ’ Trevisi, aka LTJ Edits. LTJ trained as a DJ producer at the end of the 80s. Resident first at the Kinki Club in Bologna and then at the Cap Creus in Imola, he is one of the first Italian DJs to produce House music and his style weaves intricate webs of jazz grooves, Latinbossa and classic tracks from the 70s which, over time have paved the way for Acid Jazz and Rare Grooves. Tracks such as “I Don't Want This Groove To Ever End” (2012), “Ain't Nothing But A Groove” (2013), “ Don't Let The System Get You Down” (2015) and “Beggar Groove” (2017) highlight LTJ's more funk and groovy side.

@love-drop-edits is a fascinating producer and one who very much marches to his own beat. Never one to follow trends he crafts music that is singularly Love Drop. Informed by 70's New York Disco with a pinch of both 90's US and current European House his releases stand out for both their originality and their ability to cause all manner of dancefloor scenes.

With a brand new vinyl out right now, Lovedrops 03, we thought that it was high time that we checked in again with Love Drop to talk about the new record and to see what he has been getting up to recently.

Three hour LIVE mix (NO SYNCH) from Acidiscotech at The Hogarth in Teddington on Friday 27/10/23. Starts off downtempo with Edits, reboots and Acid Grooves, and at a hour and 25 minutes shifts up a couple of gears to more Edits, Reboots and Acid Grooves, and some classic House Music.

Mixes recorded using a basic set-up of only x2 Technic 1210's, a Allen & Heath X:One23c mixer, Roland Space Echo guitar pedal plus a single Numark CD deck...100% NO SOFTWARE!...Keeping it real...ha ha!

An avid record collector & clubber who fell into DJing by chance in 1984 at the age of 17 in a local club in South London playing an eclectic mix of Boogie, Motown, Electro & Jazz Funk. Soon after became the tour DJ for (the songwriter & producer Mark Topham and his Jazz Funk band at that time) 'The Juice' back in the mid 80's. 
Acid House changed everything by the Spring of '88, Sean being a regular/member at Nicky Holloway's 'The Trip' London...by '89 he was resident DJ at a bar/club called 'The Trading Post' in South London, which lasted a number of years. Playing everything from Balearic & Italian 'piano' to eventually Progressive House, to a great crowd.
Throughout the 90s, Sean was playing regular slots at 'Dolly Rockers' & 'Just Cant Get Enough' plus lots of one-off parties. Warming up for the likes of Dave Dorrell, Judge Jules, Brandon Block, Chris & James & Leftfield's Paul Daley amongst many.
Playing at the 'Gardening Club', 'Legends', 'Maximus' & many other top venues at the time.

Sean still plays out today at selected vinyl only parties, so get in touch regarding bookings.
