I remember Chris Duckenfield getting booked by the Ward 10 lasts in Sunderland in the early 00's and after going onto hear a few more of his mixes it was clear he was a heavyweight that lurked firmly in the underground but resonated certainly across the UK and Europe.

753 - DJ Mag & Chris Coco presents 'Beach Grooves' (1999)

Mixes recorded using a basic set-up of only x2 Technic 1210's, a Allen & Heath X:One23c mixer plus a single Numark CD deck...100% NO SOFTWARE!...Keeping it real...ha ha!

An avid record collector & clubber who fell into DJing by chance in 1984 at the age of 17 in a local club in South London playing an eclectic mix of Boogie, Motown, Electro & Jazz Funk. Soon after I became the tour DJ for (the songwriter & producer Mark Topham and his Jazz Funk band at that time) 'The Juice' back in the mid 80's. 
Acid House changed everything by the Spring of '88, Sean being a regular/member at Nicky Holloway's 'The Trip' London...by '89 he was resident DJ at a bar/club called 'The Trading Post' in South London, which lasted a number of years. Playing everything from Balearic & Italian 'piano' to eventually Progressive House, to a great crowd.
Throughout the 90s, Sean was playing regular slots at 'Dolly Rockers' & 'Just Cant Get Enough' plus lots of one-off parties. Warming up for the likes of Dave Dorrell, Judge Jules, Brandon Block, Chris & James & Leftfield's Paul Daley amongst many.
Playing at the 'Gardening Club', 'Legends', 'Maximus' & many other top venues at the time.

Sean still plays out today at selected vinyl only parties, so get in touch regarding bookings.

DJs that have & still inspire...Mark Moore, DJ Harvey, Steve Lee (of the Project Club / SLO / Above Machine), Jolyon, Nicky Siano, Psychemagik, Artwork, Scott Proper, Howler, Kelvin Andrews & Luke Una amongst many.
