'Tambour - Silhouettes'
Co-produced by Pietro Amato and mixed by Mark Lawson (Arcade Fire’s collaborators) - the eight minute piece in two movements juxtaposes an intimate, slow moving opening that is overtaken by a series of gripping, ambitious orchestral swells in the second half. Pairing delicate, melodic piano with lush string and horn sections, the track displays Tambour (Simon P. Castonguay) at his best: patient, carefully constructed arrangements that are at once full of life and vivid imagery…

Tangerine Dream - Love on a Real Train (Betamaxx Remix)

A somewhat wistful homage to Tangerine Dream's wondrous score for Michael Mann's The Keep, particularly the 'still lost' cues to the original film, in this instance their mesmeric Fisherman's Morn. 

It's also something of a musical 'hope' and plea that some day soon Mann will revisit and oversee his misunderstood and underseen masterpiece and release the full Director's cut of a movie that is today, despite all the odds and red tape and machinations stacked against it throughout the years, universally beloved and admired. 

All original copyright (for the original track) is of course Tangerine Dream. 

Enjoyed more so on headphones I'd suggest.
