Fun With Burk and Gentner

Indiana's Weatherman and DJ Paul Poteet mentioned radio station Chief Engineer Sean Mattingly on his 6/13/19 show.  This week marks Sean's 35th anniversary working for the local Hartford City/Muncie/Anderson, Indiana radio station group.  It sounded like this.

I use AudioVault and a Broadcast Tools 8x1 switcher to control music-on-hold for a building that has several radio stations in it.  Every hour, the automation makes an audio announcement play telling which station it is switching to, then it puts that station "on" for the hour.  Next hour, it announces and puts one of the other stations on.  This rotation of stations is also heard on the overhead speakers throughout the offices and hallways, and in the restrooms.  Well, here are some audio files from it.  There is one announcement that plays at 6am to call the jocks to their battle stations.  And another announcement that celebrates the arrival of 5pm with the Flintstones cartoon theme.
