Based in Meanjin/Brisbane, multigenre DJ and producer Weekendad is carving a path for himself in the local scene with a sound rooted in hardgroove energy and hypnotic rhythm. 

Fusing rolling percussion with infectious melodies, he draws from 90's, 00's, and contemporary house, trance, and techno to create tracks built for the dancefloor. 

His cut Mind the Gap is a prime example, a relentless yet hypnotic groove that locks listeners in and highlights his ability to push classic influences into a modern context.
