I'm back after a year hiatus! The last 3+ years have been a real struggle. I've had an acute mental illness with 3 hospitalizations and lots of very scary times. I wouldn't have gotten through it without my supporting family and close network of friends. Mental illness is really difficult to describe unless you've been through it so it can be very isolating. Finding it difficult to confide in friends or family at times and getting cut off from the world. You just have to keep pushing through, go out and put on a brave face. I feel like I am over the worst of it and have my music mojo back! Electronic music was something I lost and have missed over the last 3 years but I got to appreciate other genres which genuinely kept me going. What the f##k would we do without music????!!!!! I really hope you love listening to this set as much as I loved putting it together, thanks to all the amazing artists for sharing their talent :)

Give yourself up to the dance...

The Long Night, Burning Seed Fundraiser - I had the honour of playing straight after a Solstice ritual at midnight for the rebirth of the sun, bringing in the New Year. A ritual that that called on the four watchtowers for protection and wakes the Earth Mother from her winter slumber after the longest night of the year. The Goddess became the great mother again and the Sun God returned to bring new light and hope to all. <3

Through a series of epic synchronicities that started last year at Burning Seed , I was invited to play at Papania, a brand new theme camp from Sydney. The crew that created Papania could not have been more welcoming and each and every one of them has left the biggest imprint on my heart <3 Thank you so much for having me guys, it was such an honour to play your first ever party at Seed. You should be so incredibly proud of Papania, you absolutely NAILED IT!!!! And a BIG thank you to my friend John-Henry who I bumped into a couple hours before my set and brought his Sax along, I just love the magic that happens at Seed :)

Searsha is an Irish born, Melbourne based DJ currently making waves in the underground electronic music scene. Opening Babylon, one of the most established music camps on the paddock, after the Man burned on Saturday night was a pretty special honour for me this year at Seed :) It was down to me to set the tone for the night, so there was no time to p**s about! Luckily, within what seemed like minutes the dome was full and I got to kick start what was THE most incredible night with THE most beautiful vibe :) It was such a privilege to get to play alongside my Wildwood brothers Karl, Ekbalu Clemente, Pat & Dean, a night that will live on in my heart forever :) <3 xxx

Burning Seed 2018 - Wildwood @ Babylon

The 7hr trip to the most beautiful festival site I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing, was worth every second! It was my first Dragon Dreaming but definitely not my last. The music, the incredible lake, the stages and most of all the beautiful people have left me beaming :D Playing on the Water stage overlooking the lake and an amazing sea of beautiful faces was an incredible moment, and makes my heart swell just thinking about it <3 Thank you for having me Dragon Dreaming, see you guys next year!! <3 xxx

Dragon Dreaming 2018 - 10th Anniversary

One of the best things that happened to me in 2018 was becoming a Wildwood family member. The love, nurturing & shenanigans experienced each & every time I spend a weekend with my tribe is so precious.

I wanted to record a set for Sarah & Yes Queen as unfortunately, during the early stages of my career I was affected by workplace bullying, and so can really relate to and have a lot of compassion for those who have and continue to suffer. Music with intention behind it can be such a powerful healer. 

I also wanted to appreciate and acknowledge just how much of her beautiful heart & soul, Sarah has and will continue to put into this extremely valuable "Revolution of Kindness in the workplace". 
Yes Queen embodies a person - an ambitious trailblazer who is kind, compassionate and supportive of others.", Urban dictionary defines Yas(Yes) Queen as, “anything applause-worthy, fierce". These are only a few of the adjectives I would use to describe it's founder Sarah Fritz. I would like to add passionate, positive, powerful, inspirational, caring, nurturing, funny, intelligent, considerate, courageous, you get the idea, she is a QUEEN in her own right :)

YES Queen

Quitting my job and heading overseas for 6 months to work on Ableton production was probably the wisest decision I have ever made! I am beyond grateful for the incredible people I met and the beautiful experiences I shared :)

Returning Home

This years Burn was by far the best yet for me. Every year it just gets better & better, so much love & magic everywhere I went :) And to top it off I got to make my debut on the CPL art car after the Effigy burn, and into the New Moon!! I decided to bring out my inner warrior, and thought some techno could be in order to keep everyone's blood pumping on a chilly night. So much love & gratitude to my CPL family.

It's been well over a year since I've uploaded any mixes, and considering the challenging year we've all had when it comes to mental health, it was perfect timing that one of my nearest and dearest asked me to collaborate. Vaughan Dagnell started Flip your dog for Mental health(FYD4MH) during Covid  delivering vital mental health tools & practices to people in need. Flip Your Dog For Mental Health (FYD4MH) is a charitable initiative supporting and delivering mental health and wellbeing services for people in need.

At the core of our work is a belief that mental health matters and that Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness are powerful tools to help better process the challenges of the modern world. A society is only healthy when everyone’s health is considered, and in order to thrive rather than simply survive we need to take mental health seriously.

We support and deliver community yoga and wellbeing projects for vulnerable people throughout the UK, helping mental health charity Mind and other similar organisations to fund and co-create projects supporting marginalised communities and individuals struggling with their mental health. Achieving these outcomes is why this organisation was created.

Starting on Sunday January 31st and the last Sunday of the month thereafter FYD4MH will be hosting Self Care Sunday; an online wellbeing event curated to lift the soul, calm the mind and warm the heart. Yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance, mindfulness and Sound Healing, raising money for Mind and FYD4MH community wellbeing projects.
