The 'Waltz of the Flowers' from Tchaikovsky's esteemed ballet 'The Nutcracker', appears towards the end of the second act. Attention can be drawn to the melodious cadenza of the harp, then to the horns that eventually make way into the riveting melody of the strings.

At the “Viva Verdi!” concert the famous quartet from Verdi’s “Rigoletto” showcased the voices of mezzo-soprano Deborah Nansteel as the giggling prostitute Maddalena; soprano Dana Pundt as Gilda, wailing over her broken heart; baritone Hunter Enoch as her father Rigoletto, muttering words of vengeance; and tenor Theo Lebow as the seductive, untrustworthy Duke of Mantua.
