George Frideric Handel (1685–1759) was a great German composer, famous for his operas, concertos, and oratorios (church music). One of his most famous compositions is "Sarabande in D Minor". "Sarabande" means "slow dance" and is one of my favorite music parts. This is my first effort to make a remake of a classical work, using both ambient and chillout elements.

“The zephyr shall sigh this evening beneath the pine trees in the grove,” say the words of the beautiful ‘Letter Duet’ from Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro.” The Countess (Bernarda Bobro) dictates, and Susanna (Nuccia Focile) writes a note inviting the randy Count to a midnight assignation in the garden. Gary Thor Wedow conducted the orchestra of Seattle Opera.

MARRIAGE OF FIGARO: Letter Duet

The Jane Campion Film "The PIANO"  got  its  soundtrack  by  the  minimal music  composer  Michael Nyman, who created an exceptional soundtrack to the  very  spheric  and  dense  movie.
The  major cast  was  Holly Hunter  and  Harvey  Keitel besides  Sam Neill.
Bastian Lee Jones   chose the piece "The Heart Asks Pleasure First", which is his 14th recording of 2015.

This recording  was part of my very first studio production. I labeled it "affettuoso assai" and made copies on CompactCassettes, each one by hand !  During the following years I managed to sell 500 pieces during my first gigs and concerts and was enormously proud of it.
