The challenge this weekend was 'Heavenly Pads, Hellish Beats'. 
For the pads I was inspired by @VolcaNiced 's tutorial on the MicroMonsta2 ( here https://youtu.be/j8XL6yLIJx0 ) to delve a bit deeper with my OG MicroMonsta. I ended up just modifying a patch to enable more control from my Seaboard Rise. 
For the Hellish Beats, I used the Lyra-8 as a synth source into the Deluge - excellent fun. Also added the Bastl Kastl for some more hell on top and the Volca FM.

Nightmare Bringer

This recording is a training session of my dawless setup. Arturia Keystep as main MIDI  controller, Korg Volca Keys as bass line sequenced by Keystep, Roland JD-08 as pad sequenced by itself and lead played by Me live. Drums coming from Yamaha RY-20. Vocal was processed by Chase Bliss Audio Gen Loss MKII and CBA MOOD MKI as reverb.

Patch of FM-ed WMD Legion by another Legion and Plaits. Going through Ripples into Beads. No sequencing. Just manual tweaking.

Pioneer Toraiz on Amen Break (2 times, low pass and hiqh pass filtered). Metallic percussion chords by Waldorf M into Space Cat Audio Filter Phase and Kilpatrick Audio Redox. Melodic bass line from the Dominion 1 into distortion filter and reverb. Octatrack adds extra reverb and OTO Boum compresses and distorts nicely.
