The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint finds the label showcasing the 15th edition of their popular 'Three Of A Kind' series. These VA EP releases feature three producers who contribute two originals, with the end result being a unique amalgamation of sound, something which has now become synonymous with the Sound Avenue affiliate. Invited to showcase their talents for the 15th edition are artists from Argentina, United States & Costa Rica.

Emi Brandan - Enlightenment Pulses [3rd Avenue]

We are pleased to announce the latest release on the label, which features the debut of Avasono from Switzerland with his two-track original EP "Brothers." Avasono has recently released music on labels such as MNL, Inspired By Trees, and ICONYC. His last track "Drifting Home" was even supported by the legendary Eelke Kleijn in his radio show. We are excited to hear what Avasono has in store for us on this EP and look forward to seeing what the future holds for this talented artist.

Avasono - Brothers [Future Avenue]

Dutch production & DJ outfit Around Us is set to release its much-anticipated debut studio LP entitled ‘Reaching Home’. The new record will be available to stream and purchase across all major digital platforms via Paul Hazendonk’s Manual Music imprint on February 10th, 2023.

Following releases on Click Records, Clubsonica, Freegrant Music, and Manual Music’s progressive-minded MNL division, Around Us now unleashes a staggering eighteen-track storyteller that showcases the duo’s seductive and free-flowing sound.

Leading up to its release, Around Us has been sharing a string of EPs and singles (including ‘Until Fall’, ‘Homecoming’, and ‘Undiscovered Times’) with music featured on the ‘Reaching Home’ LP. The rest of the album is comprised of unreleased cuts, completing the duo’s sonic narrative.

After the runaway success of their Winter Collection, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden delivers another stellar compilation of musical gems to keep you grooving and moving through those warm summer nights.  

The dynamic duo of Guhus and Sebastian Busto kick off proceedings, with their track ‘Yemel’ arriving in a flurry of chiming percussion, beautifully layered pads, and stunningly ethereal vocal samples. Yoni Yarchi’s ‘My Story’ is next up, and with it comes a deceptively catchy piano refrain and precisely the kind of shuffling backbeat that’s guaranteed to get your foot tapping by the time you hit the two-minute mark.

After releasing his debut EP for The Soundgarden, Walking Friedrichshain, back in March, SIX brings his prodigal production prowess and trademark synth-led aggression to the Summer Collection with the stomping ‘That Balance’. Label newcomer Ultraverse follows up, with his track ‘New York New York’ arriving in a haze of throbbing bass and whirring synthesisers, before Argentina’s Paul Deep takes over the reins with the decidedly melodic – and meticulously produced – ‘Anemona’. 

As we pass the halfway point of the collection, we’re greeted with label favourite Marian (AR) and his meticulously layered mid-tempo offering, ‘Parsimony’. From there, we’re whisked off into a world of fearsome synth walls and throbbing bass lines from the aptly named NOIYSE PROJECT and their offering, ‘Druid Poem’, before being gently brought back down to earth by the harmonic pads and soft snares of Kasey Taylor and Karlisle’s ‘Pans Theme’. 

Kamilo Sanclemente is no stranger to The Soundgarden, and his team-up with prodigious newcomer Juan Pablo Torrez – the pounding and vibrant ‘Leda’ – provides yet another highlight of this non-stop collection. London’s Nichols keeps the energy going with his melodic and hard-hitting effort, ‘Kaleidoscope’, before Juan Sapia closes off proceedings with the showstopping, floor-filling, and bona-fide brilliant ‘Turquoise’.

Oliverio Sofia joins the label with the impressive ‘Agua’. Remix support comes from Dario Arcas and Sebastian Busto.

As a pioneer of the Argentinian progressive sound, Oliverio has soundtracked a generation. Breaking onto the scene at the turn of the century with performances at Creamfields BA, Speed Unlimited, and many others, a well-regarded radio show on Metro 951 (Argentina’s best electronic station), and 3 of his music videos on MTV. Forming Soundexile with Baunder in 2006 saw the duo reach even bigger heights and on slipping in 2008, he had worked closely with Hernan as well as releasing tracks on the biggest global labels such as Global Underground, Urbantorque and Plastik Park.

It’s no surprise then that ‘Agua’ is exceptional. The soft relaxing piano and orchestral movements of the original ambient version are transported into a mid-set bruiser on the club mix becoming brief moments of reflective introspection. On remix duties, Dario Arcas keeps it deep and hypnotic, building on a claustrophobic low end with delicate and melancholic piano. Sebastian Busto creates a deep pumping groover that teases the original motifs until the epic and understated main break.
