A new set from the Before The Curfew series, performed by Raavel at Ground Floor on March 30th, is now available on our SoundCloud. Despite being constantly on the front lines, Raavel's still making music and gearing up for a new release. During a small break, he visited us to share the energy and thoughts that have accumulated over time. 

Raavel is a DJ, producer, and soldier who has been defending Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale invasion. During the war, Raavel released a vinyl EP "Insect Replicant" on DJ MELL G's "Juicy Gang Records" label, and the track "Wakalaka" was included in Helena Hauff's compilation from London's Fabric Records. 

Before the Curfew is a series of music podcasts that emerged in 2022 after the reopening of the club following the liberation of Kyiv. All recordings presented in this series take place before midnight, before the curfew begins. Before the Curfew offers a vibrant snapshot of the Ukrainian music scene amidst challenging times, celebrating resilience, creativity, and unity through music.

Next up is a high quality disco content from Kadillove (Andrii Konovalov).
Andrii is big music enthusiast working hard to build up Lviv's electronic scene by co-owning party series called MOTANKA, owning @polus_tonus and being  @ptaharaves resident. Limiting to some genres is not Andrii's thing, and it looks "best of both worlds" is more applicable here. In the mix recorded for us Andrii is traveling from more classic disco sound to harder EBM sub-genres to build a strong storyline from emotional italo pads to powerful & tense bass arpeggios. Exactly the approach we love the most.

Не кожен делікатес має вам сподобатись, але від цього він не перестає бути делікатесом, — розповідає гурт. — Так само брудне та не причесане звучання „Сюрстрьомінга“ є проявом справжніх, вируючих, живих емоцій, як-от гнів, розпач, гумор і трохи божевільності. Все це наш гурт хоче розділити зі слухачем».

▫️ Mirage Camp — освітня подія DTF Magazine для українських електронних музикантів, інструменталістів, вокалістів та сонграйтерів.

Ключова ідея цьогорічного кемпу — створення музики в колаборації та взаємодія. Тому 50 відібраних учасників з різних міст України поділили на 11 колективів, які за час кемпу мали створити спільний трек. Це історія про взаємодію і досвід, набутий під час роботи в особливих умовах, які артисти навряд створили б собі за межами проєкту. І те, що може вийти, якщо об’єднати музикантів з різних світів.
