It felt amazing to let myself go this way last Sunday at Sisyphos Berlin. What an incredible crowd that merged everything together to become one unique thing, under fast but yet trippy and warm beats. Many tracks were loaded into this set. It's a constant combination of different elements, external drums, loops, my own bass lines and pads through Ableton Live, with the support of my beloved MODEL1 mixer which I use to sculpt the frequencies trying my best to make it all sound as if it was one single evolving track.

This week´s AMFM is another CLR Podcast special edition, this time from myself, as I am releasing the 100th release of my label CLR. It is called “Time’s Up EP” and contains two originals by myself and a fantastic moody emotional remix by the one and only Ralf Hildenbeutel, the man with whom I did both albums “Burn Slow” and “Another Day” for the legendary Mute label. So this release goes full circle for me. No better way than to celebrate this release with a CLR Podcast that I recorded at the Coachella festival, which happened in California in April. It was the second time after 2018 that I got to play in the Yuma tent of that fantastic festival. This tent is run by the crew of the Sound Nightclub in Hollywood and has an insane line up and production. I am definitely happy to be a part of that again. The mix contains quite a few unreleased bits from my label, of course all three tracks of the CLR 100 release, as well as great promos from others and I start it off with my latest club remix for my “Another Day“ album track “Cause & Effect” that will be soon out on Mute. It is a 90 minute set, so for those who only get to hear the 60 min “radio version”, please go over to Mixcloud Select, find my channel and listen to the whole set without my voice overs and downloadable on your phone. Seba Lecompte started collecting vinyl in the early 90's and played his first gigs in Belgium around 1997. After organising local warehouse parties, Seba earned a resident spot at the famous Decadance club in his hometown Ghent. With this residency Seba established himself as one of Belgium’s finest and hardest working techno dj's. 

Seba has a very distinct dj-style: energetic mixes combined with well balanced storytelling. Thanx to this dj-style Seba heated up all major Belgian dancefloors: I Love Techno, Fuse, Kozzmozz, Café D'Anvers, 10 Days Off, Laundry Day, Ostend Beach, Silo, The Wood, Studio 22, Cherry Moon and of course his homebase Decadance.

Nowadays Seba is still playing weekly at Decadance and is the driving force behind Bang The Box, the longest running techno concept at Decadance. Over the years Seba invited guests such as Ken Ishii, Mark Broom, Johannes Heil, Gary Beck, Dustin Zahn, Steve Rachmad, Dubspeeka, Technasia, Joel Mull, Hans Bouffmyhre, Paul Ritch, Joris Voorn, Monika Kruse, Pig & Dan, Shlomi Aber, Green Velvet and Stephan Hinz to name a few.

Seba Lecompte also has an unstoppable passion for producing techno music, which resulted in his first releases on Eukatech records in 2004 under the monniker 'Wings Of Sound'. These EP's immediately got played by artists such as Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Marco Lenzi, Estroe, Tomaz and many more.

Between 2006 and 2008 Seba had the honour of being a resident dj at Fuse in Brussels, Belgium's premier techno club and played alongside many a-list international guest dj's.
Around this time Seba also started touring across Europe and played in Berlin, Kopenhagen, Oslo, Paris, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Nijmegen, Luxembourg, Chemnitz, Braunschweig, Bethune and more.

In 2012, after producing several EP's with a friend as 'Double Shift', Seba decided to focus on his solo material as 'Seba Lecompte'. Since then Seba released music on established labels like Recode Musik, Krannit Records, Girafe Sauvage, Polar Noise, Gotham Grooves, What Happens, Balance 432, Airtaxi, Mude, Railroad Recordings and Ion music.
In 2016 Seba started a new collaboration with the Danish/Belgian artist Soren Aalberg. This resulted in a first release on Frankyeffe's imprint Riot Recordings and got played by lots of key industry artists.

The future looks bright for Seba with confirmed solo releases on high profile labels, increasing gigs abroad and new material from Soren Aalberg & Seba which should be hitting your ears soon!
