Inspired by six summers spent with my parents in the small Tuscan harbour town of Porto Santo Stefano, this piece is an ode to its charm, history, and atmosphere.

The work unfolds in three movements, each like a musical painting:
	1.	Evening Promenade in the Harbour – Motorcycles purr past as people sit with drinks, chatting and dressing elegantly for the night. A sense of style fills the warm summer air.
	2.	Voices of Tuscany – Echoes of the sea, ancient buildings, and the lives of those who have called this place home across history. Mysterious and reflective.
	3.	Fun on the Pier – Young people laughing, pushing each other into the water, full of energy and summer mischief.

This recording marks the world premiere of the piece. I hope it takes you there.

Argentario Suite

Sounds of Conversations is a symphonic work of about ten minutes, written as the composer’s graduation project at Sankt Annæ Gymnasium. The piece can be heard as a musical memoir – a portrait of conversations in many forms: between instruments, between people, and as inner reflections and streams of thought.

Melodic and evocative in character, the music draws on Kierkegaard’s background in film scoring and its narrative devices. It balances experimental and traditional elements, while leaving room for soloistic moments across the orchestra. From the very beginning, a dialogue unfolds between two instruments – a clarinet posing a question and another voice offering an answer – before the entire orchestra gradually joins the conversation and carries it into new directions.
