For Sebastian Koch it all started in 1996, where he begann to spin Hip Hop records. In 1998 he visited the Tresor club for the first time and was so fascinated by the atmosphere, that his style changed completely. One year later he was playing for the first time at the legendary „HEADQUARTER-NEW FACES“ Nights at the Tresor club. In the year 2005 Sebastian adopted the Berlin studio of the Internet Radio "SPIEL-TRIEB" (www.spiel-trieb.org), which has its headquarter in Munich and works together with the well known club "HARRY-KLEIN". In 2007, together with 2 colleagues (0x7f & Subjunk), he founded the Label "31337-RECORDS". The Label is releasing international Artists such as "DEN", "SOMEONE-ELSE", "KAI" to name a few. On this Label he also released his first EP "FRIENDSHIP" along with "DEN". His style is straight minimal, sometimes dark, but always groovy Techno. True to the motto "less is more" or "the art lies in the detail"!

They're are kicking things off with " Les Fruits de la Famille" a Various Artist compilation that features the diverse range of sounds that make up the HushLamb Artists collective.

The Hushlamb Label Project is a label run out of Montreal, Canada by Alicia Hush and Sarah Lamb.

Born out of a shared desire to create platforms for the music that moves us; in the hope it will move you too…..

The two bearded Swedes join forces on this collaborative album. Black Corner Den is the result of long winter studio sessions separated by the atlantic ocean but made possible by the internet. Lonely moments in the company of the night lamp, overlooking the messy pile of tape loops while the machines hummed and the piano played until the morning. 

Exploring the opium dens at the end of the 19th century this album takes you deep into the soothing dreams of dead poets. 

"The streets lay silent as the floor creeks under your bare feet. The old loft lit by a wax candle, it's light dancing over your oak desk. You grab the vial of black ink and the leather bound book as you scurry out the door into the humid night. You pass trails of fire as the lamplighter tends to the myriad lanterns adorning the bridge. A left turn leads you down a set of stone stairs where the satin clad lounge welcomes you in. 

Sweet smoke lingers in here where gentlemen gather to dream about the black sea. Your booth at the far end stands prepared. A pipe, tinderbox and purple pillow for a tired head. You have a friend tonight and it calls itself the Black Corner Den." 

Pär Boström’s dreamlike soundscapes combines with the careful melodies and elegant structures of Simon Heath. The perfect soundtrack for decadent nights or introverted reading sessions, preferably combined.

For Sebastian Koch it all started in 1996, where he began to spin Hip Hop records. In 1998 he visited the Tresor club for the first time and was so fascinated by the atmosphere, that his style changed completely. In the year 2005 Sebastian adopted the Berlin studio of the web radio ‘Spiel-Trieb’, which has its headquarter in Munich and works together with the well known club ‘Harry Klein’. In 2007, together with 2 colleagues (0x7f & Philip Rauh), he founded the label ’31337 Records’. On this label he also released his first EP ‘Friendship’ along with Den.

His style is straight minimal, sometimes dark, but always groovy techno. True to the motto ‘less is more’ or ‘the art lies in the detail’! Quote: ‘Sebastian Koch is one of the Berlin DJs who’s putting lots of thoughts into their sets. His style is affected by lots of minimalistic details, wich he skillfully puts together. Thus he’s taking a path where he gives the interested listener the possibility to let himself fall into the music to understand its core, the minimal maximalism.’

  ABOUT 31337 Records:
  
  The label was formed in early 2007 as a platform for international artists, to release quallity music for everyone over the internet. we have artists from all over the world, from underground to well known and respected producers such as someone else, remute, omar salgado, ditch, den, easy changes, kai, liiebermann, and many more.
  
  our focus lies mainly in minimal techno, dub and experimental electronic music. however, every artist can work freely and is not bound to any limitations in his style. because we all have more or less the same taste, but all in different directions, the result is a perfect mix between floor filling, subtle minimal techno, and deep, slow experimental tracks.
  
  the artist list keeps growing and 31337records presents their weekly shows on radio spiel-trieb (www.spiel-trieb.org) with lots of artists hosted by the label management. after one and a half years of work and 8 digital releases later, numerous requests for vinly releases resulted in the planning of the first 4 vinyl releases which are schedulled for the beginning of 2009. for the future, own events are planned around germany and possibly other countries in europe.
