breakup. The song entails Xedrin’s personal experiences of a 2-year-long toxic relationship exploring the mental and emotional abuse and manipulation he suffered. In Butterflies Xedrin takes the listener through a wide array of emotions as he details the
manipulation, abuse, and fighting he suffered leading up to his breakup, ultimately ending in the confession that he still has feelings for his ex-love.
Returning to the spotlight after an over year-long hiatus, Xedrin delivers a beautiful, laid back Frank Ocean/6LACK inspired sound carried by simplistic acoustic production by collaborator RRAREBEAR with his returning single Butterflies.
