Fossils of the Mind was the title track of the 2018 album by Will Lawton & The Alchemists. Will and Sebastian met through mutual friends and Sebastian came up with the idea to produce a radical reinterpretation of the track, with new material added by Sebastian and members of the band, notably a startling new vocal part by Will.  Fossils of the Mind was originally inspired by a TED talk by comedian Robin Ince, based on the concept that art that artists of all background produce, whether it's music, poetry, painting etc etc, is like a fossil of the mind of the creator, destined to live on long after the maker has passed on.

Molotov - Sebastian Reynolds rework is the new single from  UK producer Sebastian Reynolds in collaboration with Irish duo Colm O'Connell and Rory McDaid under their Rezo moniker.

The original version of Molotov appeared on the third Rezo album, The Age of Self Help.

Molotov (Sebastian Reynolds rework) was written by Sebastian Reynolds, Rory McDaid andColm O'Connell and was produced by Sebastian Reynolds. 

Vocals and lyrics by Colm O'Connell, brass by Leon Benoit & Dieter Savall, percussion, beatboxing and additional brass by Jonas Torrance (Dubwiser) and programming and additional synths by Sebastian Reynolds. 

Mixed by Sebastian Reynolds with Mike Bannard at Safehouse studios, Oxford, mastered by Tim Turan, Oxford.

One Year To Go - The Mining Co. - Sebastian Reynolds

IYSCM is a collaboration between Sebastian and cult American guitarist Myles Cochran, with the duo collaborating to re-imagine Myles's If You Could See Me, a track taken from his celebrated 2024 album You Are Here. The duo take Myles's downtempo If You Could See Me and rework it into a pulsing, atmospheric ambient house direction, deftly weaving in acoustic instruments, electronic processing and a haunting guest vocal from rising Oxford star Kelly Michaeli. The end result is an intriguing track that calls to mind mavericks such as Arthur Russell as well as modern innovators such as Bob Moses.

IYCSM is taken from New Beginnings, the new collaborative album from UK producer Sebastian Reynolds, set for release via his PinDrop label on 4th July 2025. The album features 10 tracks with many exclusive, as yet unheard reworks by Sebastian.
