the tone of her text sounded shocked and upset,
and I felt her fucking pain after I tried to take a breathe,
because I was spiraling deep inside of my mind,
what if I lived her life and she lived mine,
worst fear a reality, no sun gon shine,
and she would be okay even through the strife,
so even though I hate this shit, I gotta be thankful,
because I know that it could be worse,
and if I had to trade shoes with somebody who lost their lover,
fuck that shit, take me first,
