There are not many things that can give you that warm and overexciting feeling as if you had to much black tea: a good song, a renewed friendship and well too much black tea. And here we have all three of them. 

An On Bast and Douglas Greed met over ten years ago on the other side of the world and always wanted to join forces. But upon till now they failed. Not in way that would suggest a big story filled with tragedy behind it. It was rather a string of missed chances and unexpectedly fast passing years.

But now we got two tracks that couldn’t be more different. "I'm right outside if you need me" is sweet as baclava and as sad as the Friday news at the same time. While "Night Time" is a nice little rolling monster, haunting you on the dance floor - if you let it.

Club-focussed heaters are only a part of musical development. Sometimes you need to catch also the strings and melodies of a certain moment. From silence to wild nature noises, from sunshine to deep and dark winter mood. You are coming home with a melody in your head and you find peace in some hard and techy sounds coming in and bringing movement for your blood. Diverse like life, thats Mononoid's first longplayer.

"Elf" is the first track creating a spacious atmosphere were you can loose yourself in, but still keeps you on the right track. "Anna" is intense and wide open, without loosing the trippy character. "Monorus" is full of magic with it's hard switch and it's spacey flair.A walk through an unreal world brings the track "Parks and Gardens" - a blues guiding you to a place in between where the clouds open up.

With our dear friend Beatamines the dutch duo created "Yotta" which is a very techy track for the late night in the club. "Take steps" will bring you home finally with a bag full of new ideas and sounds. Enjoy this beautiful trip and don't get lost on the way - how the guys described it together with Amy White.

The opening of the 27th Chapter sees the revelation of Scottish artist Kieran Apter’s sophomore ‘All I Want’ EP, featuring Editions from Aera (Innervisions, Hivern Discs) and Manuel Tur (Innervisions, Freerange).

Newcomer Kieran is hotly tipped for success, having come to the attention of some of the best artists in the scene as head honcho and resident DJ for Edinburgh house and techno party ‘Tweak_’.

Opener ‘All I Want’ is a standout composition, featuring the vocals of singer/producer and Nicolas Jaar collaborator Leon Power. It is followed up by the instrumental ‘Elle’ which, more arpeggio-driven, shares the same spiritual feel and electronic soul as the title track.

The Editions on the EP are worthy of the original material. Between them, Aera and Manuel Tur have amassed classic releases on labels as seminal and worthy of reference as Innervisions, Hivern Discs, Freerange and Running Back.

Aera’s Edition blends afro techno, chopped vocals and a beguiling synth sequence to winning effect, in a version heavy on dark drama.

Meanwhile, Manuel Tur turns in two versions, both equally stunning. The first is driving and twisted; the most dancefloor-oriented track on the EP. Meanwhile the second makes the very most of the original’s vocals, placing the focus on live instrumentation and a disco groove.

A stunning and versatile package, we are proud to be a part of launching Kieran Apter's artist career and are excited for what's to come.

ATL026 takes us to the warmth of spring with a sumptuous vocal courtesy of Jim for innovative French trio LKF Project, the combined vision of Adrien and Marc Antoine (aka Villanova) with Michel Saurin. The package includes very special remixes by Edu Imbernon, Innellea and BOg.
‘Tongue Tied’ continues ATLANT’s mission to find unique and memorable vocal tracks that cross genres to provide those special club moments. You can expect to hear much more of LKF Project as they build on a fine debut for Agoria’s Sapiens with classy studio mastery, analogue instrumentation, soothing lyrics, beautiful strummed bass and soft seductive tones. Jim’s ‘Tongue Tied’ lyrics embrace you with warmth, emotional depth and just the right measure of sugary goodness to be sweet to the taste, making you yearn for more.
ATLANT is proud to welcome aboard our good friend Edu Imbernon. A true pioneer with his originals, Edu is also a complete master at the art of remixing. From The XX’s ‘Crystalised’ to BOg’s ‘Shila’ Edu always adds new dimension and perspective. Here Edu’s re-imagining harnesses the emotional vox, while adding a fresh flowing groove. Impeccably judged melodic layers hang in the air, as Edu leads you to an imperious and poignant breakdown before letting the bass wash over you. Perfect for a special terrace set in the full glow of summer.
Ausberg/Munich duo Innellea have come a long way since their ATLANT debut ‘Napoleon’ became a core part of sets by Tale Of Us. This led to EPs on Afterlife, Adana Twin’s TAU and an Innervisions Secret Weapon. With a CV like this you just knew the guys remix was going to be killer. Innellea turn ‘Tongue Tied’ into a simmering, vibrant, percussive gem as they extend the lyrics across the track. Thrashing echoed lines become ever more urgent before an addictive hook now takes over as the club waits to erupt. These Innellea guys just get better and better !
Closing out ATL026 is our very own head honcho. On receiving the raw demo BOg immediately had a personal vision for this release and just knew he had to remix ‘Tongue Tied’. With a maturity in approach BOg weaves one of his magical sonic journeys, at first teasing with a solitary repeated arp as the unique vocal takes centre stage before adding deep bass pules and elegant layers. The track builds almost subconsciously, drawing the listener in deeper, entrancing you with the purest of melodies before gently ebbing away as the beats ride out ... making you lost for words.
