Ivan Petrenko, known by his stage name Petrenka, was born in Taganrog, in southern Russia, into a family of Soviet engineers. From an early age, he showed a passion for music, enjoying fairy tales on vinyl and experimenting with reels, followed by the first audio cassettes and CDs of club music.

Ivan's first experience as a DJ came from organizing school parties in the mid-90s. His passion for collecting music laid the foundation for creating a unique atmosphere at parties and a continuous search for new, contemporary tracks as well as classic hits to suit every taste.

The "Old Sounds" mix series represents a journey into the rich inner world of DJ Petrenka.
