This beautiful piece combines two of the Mos-lab Kobol Expander 3, a copy of the original RSF synth, and the original amazing RSF Polykobol 2 (the beautiful keyboard polysynth below in the image). I’m thrilled about Behringer’s recently released Kobol Expander and their forthcoming version of the Polykobol. Wonderful, unique sounding French synths. 😊

This drone was recorded using the PPG Wave 2 and a pair of Oberheim Echoplexes. This basically showcases the character of the original PPG Wave 2, sweeping through its wavetables. Even though it might be a tad limited when it comes to layering sounds, there is nothing quite as brittle, crystal-clear, and at the same time rich and animated-sounding as a Wave 2. Mind you, this is just a snapshot to give you an idea, this is no composed piece of music.
