The Drip EP brings together four distinctive producers and one set of sounds - The Drips. The result is a compilation of 4 tracks that bring the swing and sampling of some of Accidental Jnr’s finest to produce a soaking wet dancefloor.

First up is label boss Matthew Herbert with a trademark groove that harks back to his Wishmountain moniker albeit found lurking in the swamp. Cosmo Sheldrake takes a slight departure from his usual multi-instrumentaling live-looping avant-folk to deliver a track that could only be described as travelling circus aqua-techno. Bahraini born, French / US bred and now Edinburgh dwelling video game builder, sound designer and sometime Scottish league football referee Yann Seznec opens the B-side with an absolute stormer of a rain drenched club hook. Sussex based producer Crewdson and builder of such electronic instruments as the Eggiophone and Concertronica closes proceedings with a drizzling evolving 2-step number.

The stream gently ebbed and flowed letting off a cold spray as it ricocheted off the banks. It was welcome amidst the hot temperatures that had taken hold lately. The weather had been playing tricks on them; tropical storms were a regular occurrence at this time of year. One minute the sun would call people out onto the beaches with sunglasses and parasols in hand, before the thrashing of rain would arrive and force everyone back into their homes. But there was something beautiful about these conditions. It was a time where the sun and the rain danced together harmoniously...

Jac The Disco is gearing up for the release of his next EP Cosmic Matter, the inaugural outing on his new label Spin On This. A melee of the sounds he's become recognised for like disco, cosmic, acid and house, the two original tracks signal a strong start for the imprint which is backed up by remixes from Norwegian producer and Lindstrøm collaborator Prins Thomas and French house innovator and Versatile regular I:Cube.

Volume thirteen in the ever-growing Polena catalogue is solely devoted to the spacey boogie sound of Boryn. A beatmaker, cratedigger and DJ based in Wroclaw, Poland, he released some sample-based house jams for Astropical Tapes - both solo and as a part of Astro Buhloone duo. He also laid a few beats for Polish underground hiphop releases. "Jewels EP" fuses both his house and hiphop background into coherent, unique sound.

Boryn casts his magic spell over eight tracks, sounding not too far away from such contemporaries as Dam Funk, Moon B or Sasac. In its essence, "Jewels EP" is a pure modern funk. It is the music to cruise the streets of your favourite holiday resort town or chill on the porch at night. Catchy sample-based vocal tracks (like "Telephone", co-produced by DYYU∩E) are neighbours with summer beach vibe ("New Home Studio" and "Pretty Drunk Bassplayer"). The title track, with its high BPM, strong groove and cosmic atmosphere is also one of the stand-outs on the EP. It's hard to underestimate the wordclass production level. This beautifully crafted sound allures the listener to take yet another cruise with "Jewels EP" on repeat.

Wcześniej produkował samplowany house wydawany na Astropical Tapes, solo i w duecie Astro Buhloone. Produkował też podkłady dla polskiego podziemia hiphopowego. EP-ka "Jewels" łączy jego inspiracje house'owe i hiphopowe w spójne, unikalne brzmienie.

Boryn prezentuje 8 utworów, brzmiących nieodlegle od tego, co proponują mu współcześni Dam-Funk, Moon B lub Sasac. Esencja "Jewels EP" to czysty, nowoczesny funk. To muzyka do powolnego krążenia po ulicach ulubionego kurortu albo nocnego relaksu na tarasie. Chwytliwe utwory z samplowanymi wokalami (jak "Telephone", wyprodukowane razem z DYYU∩E), sąsiadują z plażowym wajbem ("New Home Studio" i "Pretty Drunk Bassplayer").
