A 3am session isn’t quite the same without the weirdly refreshing compositions of Howie Lee. He sent us ‘Everywhere I go’, a Jazz inspired mash of sounds carefully pieced together to create Howie’s signature sound. The Beijing based artist kept himself busy after the Borderless Shadows’ EP dropped, touring across Asia with Vice, starting a new EP & currently playing on a rooftop in Rio, Brazil. Whatever is next to come from Howie, we can promise he’ll never repeat one particular style when it comes to musical approach.

We’ve had MISOGI’s ‘Occult’ LP on repeat for the past few months. It’s a careful blend of the dark, distorted production that leaves you slightly hypnotised & wondering where the last 30 minutes went. 
And although his new single ‘Lantana’ is slightly less dark, the track still entrances with a flourish of melody, driven by a intricate drum patten & sturdy bass line. 
It definitely requires multiple listens to really admire the little delicacies throughout, as the Dubai based producer is set to build upon his impressive catalogue along side his upcoming collective HURT next year.

Abstraxion returns to his own Biologic Records to release his Spazieren remix EP - Out September 12th - giving Ripperton, Mattheis, Conforce and INIT the freedom to have their own take on a track from Abstraxion’s forthcoming ‘She Thought She Would Last Forever’ LP.
Ripperton’s first mark on Spazieren is one of meticulous sound design and textures complemented by a poignant vocal that provides a wicked ambience. His second offering is rapt around a warm bassline with
orderly percussive stabs. Init’s remix has been crafted with precision – an unhurried and mysterious track that builds and anticipates smoothly due to the precise instrumentation and adept reverb that’s been
applied on the vocal. Conforce closes out the EP with intent by delivering a dark, forceful and abstract take on Spazieren.

1)Who are you?

My name is Liudas, I’m 26 years old and I live in Vilnius.  I've been DJing since I was 12 years old and I've been running the Roe Deers project for 4 years.

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months? 

Signed 9 Roe Deers EP’s for 2018, started a new project called “Bad Habits” with my friend Titas and met a lovely lady called Bete.

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year? 

I have a new Sulk Magic Ep and later EP's on Omnidisc, Rotten City Records and Nein Records. Plus a few more I want to keep secret for now. You'll also see a bunch of remixes and edits.

Radio Garzen - Kino Todo

The collaboration with Modular Project continues in 2019 with the release of 'Vivid Poison', their new single.
Alberto Iovine and Alessandro Fumagalli started to work together in 2015, joined by a strong love for music and vintage synths, and now they are running their own record label Nothing Is Real, spreading their music in Italy and around Europe.

Their electronic style is influenced by new wave and 80’s sound fusing powerful drums, pulsating synths for an emotional impact. ‘Vivid Poison' is the perfect example of this mixture.
Originally conceived after a jamming in the studio, after listening to a lot of Italo disco music, the song comes to life thanks to the collaboration with the artist Eleonora Zaripova.
The Russian-Tartarian artist now living in Berlin has a classical music education and jazz-experience. Her beautiful voice transmits fragility and strength, melancholy and soul, and fit perfectly with the music produced by Alberto and Alex, taking us back in time.

The release also includes two valuable remixes. After her debut on Rebirth in 2017 Perel is back on the label with two strong remixes combining the original vocals with her unique 90’s synth pop sound.
Tel Aviv artist Nadav Spiegel aka Autarkic, follows his productions on Disco Halal, Golf Channel and Turbo with a powerful remix, injecting his modern Israeli vibe, filthy, intensive yet emotional.
