Zuckermann's work is about developing electronic (dance) music further, so it stays on top of a contemporary lifestyle with its corresponding party and listening experiences. 
In order to do this he uses unlikely but fitting references to other genres (classical, experimental 20th century music, jazz, children's songs...), non-musical ideas and sounds, as well as contemporary conceptual thinking to craft his tracks. His 
approach aims partly at avoiding lazy cliches and partly at the fun of deconstructing the usual retro formulas we all know 
too well. In the end, it is about creating a truly post-techno(logical) Techno. This Post-Techno is deepened electronic music with an experimental, multi-perspective approach and a serious attitude that will nevertheless rock dancefloors. Zuckermann has released on a number of up-and-coming German labels (among them - FormResonance run by Wareika's singer Florian Schirmacher), but has now turned his focus to Lebensfreude Records where he released his rather interesting solo album Serendipity in March 2014.

What is open air sound? Brigade gives us an excellent answer to this question: Heaving waves of bass frequency, as deep as a tropical ocean under the silver ligh t of a full moon night. Rhythmic arrangements with a breezy touch of Dub that remain in the background, and that don ’ t need any big bangs to be extremely catchy. Shimmering layers of intricate melod ies which paint the picture a dreamlike summer soundscape. The complementary remixes by Mollon o.Bass work on a different level, but have the very same direction: Straight towards the es calating center of a dance floor under the open sky.

Named after an exotic South American bird, Nandoo kicks off with a subtle bassline and gradually blossoms into a string-heavy breezy cut, as playful as it is dynamic.

Label chief Oliver Koletzki amps up the exotic appeal, adding tribal vocals and eccentric yet organic-sounding elements, leading up to a tension-filled, dance-frenzy inducing break.
With its slightly more sober musical range, Theben acts as a grounding agent, offering the perfect foundation for exploring. Piano loops, synth leads and oriental vocal elongations all make an appearance and amalgamate in an eclectic and lively piece.

The new Sunclock release presents an Italian origins artist based in Barcelona, Daniel Barross. His 'JUNGLE' is an incredible release with strong afro roots and heavy deep influences, very rich in original sounds.'Jungle' has a sprung groove accompanied by a low rubbery and suggestive jungle noises in the background. The tribal choirs are strengthened by lashing of very hot, cured and extremely effective electronic synths on the dancefloor. The explosion of percussions is continuously growing until you get to the sweet break characterized by a very captivating female voice, and an energetic restart. 'Arabie' has a more percussive mold with more progressive influences. Electronic synths has a very aggressive melody and facilitate dance on the dancefloor keeping everyone glued. Even this track is characterized by a tribal voice and a break with a deadly restart. We are very proud of this fantastic release ... and you will be too!

On Camino de Flores, his second full-length album, El Búho reimagines electronic music through the lense of the natural world and its rich soundscapes. 

Drawing on the inspiration of traditional rhythms and sounds, notably from Latin America, Camino de Flores is an album that transports you to another place. Following the success of his first LP, titled Balance, El Búho is back and takes us on a journey from high mountains to cascading waterfalls, from a dusky rainforest to a crackling fire beneath a clear, star-filled sky. The album charts a pathway between traditional rhythms, the sound of the natural world, IDM electronica and a deep, enveloping dancefloor sound. 

With rhythms, instruments and effects built from field recordings or “found sound”, on Camino de Flores it is often hard to distinguish between synths and drum machines, from birds, water, rain or crunching leaves.

Opener My Last Growth Of Feathers is a spine-tingling track with enchanting vocals. It has moody synth smears and a real intoxicating feel that gets you in the groove. Permanent Route is a listening track that has the vocals well treated to sound like ghoulish spirits and majestic melodies that layer over the top. Last of all, Yaowin Caramel is super deep and spaced out, with more dream-like vocals and a flickering synth line that adds candle-lit style ambiance to the groove.

Even if you’ve never heard of Hugh Marsh you’ve almost certainly heard the sound of his violin. He’s a featured player on soundtracks by Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams, was nominated for a Juno award, recorded with Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Bruce Cockburn, and was in the backing band for Bauhaus’ Peter Murphy, all a tiny fraction of his decades-long list of credits. The latest addition to that list is Marsh’s own Violinvocations, an LP recorded while Marsh lived in L.A. with friend, mentor, and fellow soundbender Jon Hassell.

Despite the album’s title, one would be hard-pressed to say with certainty whether violin was even involved in this album without being told so ahead of time. In one moment a ghost is heard weeping into a dictaphone; a digitized anime character is nervously chattering in the next; and in still another, jagged sheets of distortion avalanche toward the listener beneath auroric swells of harmony. It’s the kind of sound design that requires a dedicated attempt by any Oneohtrixian laptop composer, only it’s all being generated by Marsh’s violin and his curious cabinet of effects pedals often in just one take.
