There are so many things that can change in 15 years. Well... the average tempo of the popular electronic dance music dropped below 120 BPM but I have gone the alternative way :) Just took this Hungarian trance classic from 2001 and re-worked it for the fans of the "fast lane". Go for it!

Imagine the following: I found a 2006 song back in 2008 which made me inspired for remixing it. I began to do it as a bootleg that spring and asked the producer for the vocals on mySpace. I got the answer and the files via email in early 2015 so I could finish my work. I did it but I didn't feel it was ready so the track was laying forgotten for another year. This February I could say the remix was 100% ready and I sent it to the producer. He answered me in June that I'm allowed to publish my work. Now it's July and my remix is public after 8 years, finally and officially :)

It came as a sudden idea at the very end of the 2010s: there was a beloved remix of mine eleven years ago that sounded powerless back then. Why not remaster it? A few hours later, 'Sarah Baker - Lucky Star (DJ Seaby Club Mix)' became its 2019 facelift which can definitely be heard: less FX made the mix sound more clear, corrected samples and my improved mixing skills brought the missing power for it. Sarah Baker - Lucky Star (DJ Seaby Club Mix) (2019 Remastered)

Long story short: on the summer of 2007 I made a remix for a german guy who reworked an old Stevie B song. As a beginner I felt so special that I got a request from Germany and I hoped that this could be the beginning of something. Back then I received a very bad sound file to work with and I also was not able to bring out the best of my ideas as I lacked the skills.

Now, 13 years later, I spent a couple of hours with "reinstalling" my remix. As I was working in a way different method in the DAW then, it was a must to do this in order to do the mixing properly and do some arrangement jobs for the shortening which I felt necessary (7:13 vs. 5:23, huh).
