The hypnotic folk music of the Ainu a cappella group Marewrew receives the first of two remix treatments by Pingipung artists. Part 01 is dedicated to experimental electronic dance music. It’s a 7'' single by Andi Otto and M.RUX, complete with remixes by Patric Catani, Ya Tosiba, and Y Bülbül in the digital package.

The track "Small Car" by chöko aba & M.RUX traces its origins back to the original song of the same name by Marvin Pontiac, the alter ego of John Lurie, featured on the 1999 album The Legendary Marvin Pontiac, Greatest Hits. This album stands out for its fresh, humorous, and charismatic storytelling, seamlessly blending jazz, blues, minimal jazz, funk, and world music, all enhanced by hypnotic, repetitive elements.
Initially, chöko aba began working on a short version of "Small Car" on his own. When M.RUX heard this early sketch, he instantly fell in love with it and asked for a copy. Sensing the potential for something more expansive, chöko  invited M.RUX to collaborate on the project, and together, they set out to create a more extensive version.
What began as a simple edit evolved into a creative reinterpretation. Perhaps inspired by the playful and enigmatic spirit of Marvin Pontiac, or driven by the technical challenges of reworking the original, the duo took the track in a new direction. The final piece features Morgan Freeman as a somewhat unreliable AI speech generator, narrating the whimsical tale of small farmers venturing out to explore the world in their makeshift tin-can cars.
chöko aba & M.RUX filled this world with their distinctive blend of Dub, DownTempo, and obscure sounds, while retaining the original's quirky genius and the chants of the small farmers. The result is an imaginative departure from the source material, yet it remains true to the spirit of Marvin Pontiac.

The calendar year is getting to an end and many tend to look back at the joys and successes, but also at the false steps. No better time than this to present a cosmonautic experience offered to us by the one and only Pacaya. His beautiful creations as painter, illustrator, and graphic designer have been delighting us for long time, and now we have the rare opportunity to appreciate his aesthetic also through sound. This beloved friend of ours embodies the concept of the multisensorial artist displaying here an exquisite selection of world music. The sound is the fourth dimension of his visual art. Pacaya explained that each of his artistic creations can be experienced in a deeper way when accompanied by the sound which nourished his mind, and which drove his hand during the making. The sound, somehow, makes the colours more vivid and complement the creation with further details. The inclusion of the sound wide opens the door which the visual art unlocks. That’s the doors to the intimate and emotional world of the artist, a world which Pacaya has been shaping with the physical and metaphysical experiences that he has collected through space and time. Crossing that doorstep gives the chance to make a digression from our respective “here and now” to transcend towards an inner dimension where we can relive our joys and forget our troubles, if we like, or to face the latter with calm and serenity. In that dimension we have the chance to enjoy our time, but also to learn from our false steps in a constructive and peaceful manner. The secret to do this is simple: just relax and feel.

this is my blood on the tracks

i made this on ableton like a year ago i used to walk around my neighborhood every night missing someone

i don't know a lot about music production but i knew i would never post this if i waited for it to be perfect and i also didn't want anyone else touching it so it can just exist as is , my little creation 

thanks to curtis for gassing me up enough to just drop this, I've had such anxiety about posting music for literal years and have just put it off even though i know it shouldn't matter!
