After a long running friendship, mutual taste in music, and the success of last years Pan-Pot remixes of Sebrok's own 'Dangerous EP' on Paso, the pair have finally decided to get into the studio and work together. 

The first results of their toil is today's stunning two tracker, 'Who Stole The Soul' and 'Feel It'. Both are set to ignite and rule the dancefloor, and are the sweetest of appetizers of what is set to be a hugely fruitful relationship.

'Who Stole The Soul' was the first work to be released by the collaboration of Sebrok and Tassilo Ippenberger (Pan-Pot). After a long running friendship, mutual taste in music, and the success of last years Pan-Pot remixes of Sebrok's own 'Dangerous EP' on Paso, the pair finally decided to get into the studio and work together. 

The track was an instant success, finding huge support from the most discerning of DJ's. The strength of the release has seen it become a staple inclusion in the sets of the biggest names throughout the summer, and whereas many tracks today come and go, 'Who Stole The Soul' and its flipside 'Feel It', have continued to flex their muscles on the floor. 

The choice of who to approach for a remix was a simple one. Anja Schneider has been one of the releases' strongest supporters, and still includes it in her current chart rundown. The 'What Is Soul' remix sees Anja take the original on a deeper trip. Smoothly hypnotic, its opening rhodes stabs develop, and with the addition of its dubby bassline and trumpet drops, it shows some superstylin' flavour as the twisted break heralds the return of the bass. 

The second remix comes from the much in-demand toolbox of Steve Lawler. With his very own club smash 'Gimme Some More' set to drop on his VIVa MUSiC imprint at any moment, a better precursor you will not find. Hearing Steve's remix is like a direct lightning strike to the hips and feet. Just try and stop them. This is a pile driver ladies and gents, this is Big Show!


Sebrok&Tassilo - Who Stole The Soul - Anja Schneider´s What Is Soul Remix

Berlin producer Sebrok, over the past two years, has ridden a tidal wave of support for his stunning releases on labels including Minisketch, SCI+TEC, Octopus  Recordings.

Today Sebrok makes his debut on IDEAL with his homage to one of his favourite Cities. The 'Out In Miami' EP sees the German matching dark electronic touches with fresh, organic, percussive sounds, on both 'Lincoln Road' and 'Jefferson Avenue'.

History: Sebrok's 2009 release, the 'The X' EP for Dubfire's SCI+TEC imprint really
cemented his place in the record boxes of the worlds biggest names and quickly followed with his 'Vision' EP for Minisketch, the title track of which was selected by Dubfire for his Cocoon compilation.

Not just an artist, Sebrok (alongside good friend Marc Miroir) is also the owner of Paso Music. Recent releases have seen Sebrok's 'Dangerous EP' as well as his huge co-production with Tassillo from Pan-Pot 'Who Stole The Soul'.
