Its flute-like synth work and crisp snares nod towards a propulsive, room-filling sound, but one veiled in a haze and mystery. Parisian Abe's productions fit perfectly with https://soundcloud.com/ROITrecordings's trademark fresh and melodic aesthetic and provides yet another slammin' offering from the Istanbul based label. Abe's alternate moniker, KEMT has taken the world by storm, mixing melancholic vocals with distorted House grooves, and helms one of the go-to names for your dose of raw Lo-Fi house. 

Here, as Abe, he delivers a more gentle take on House music, with a wonderful mixture of Soul and Disco amalgamated with his signature Lo- Fi analogue percussion. The EP opens with this feature's 'Forgive Ain't Easy': straight 4/4 cut driven by sampled vocals and soulful piano melodies - one for a dusky summer evening and everything that befalls after.

R.Kitt is not a man of half measures. His approach to making tracks is all about an obsession with the philosophy of a dancefloor and how to communicate that in a musical moment. The result is Tingle, a fully realised four track EP, showcasing unique slices of soulful house, progressive yet warmly familiar.

First track Breakboy opens almost introspectively and transitions to something far more rhythmic and repetitive based around a pulsating, hypnotic vocal courtesy of RBMA graduate Jennifer Moore. 

Tingle is distributed through Lobster Distribution and is available to preorder from Friday 19th of Jan. It is R.Kitt’s 2nd release following his debut on All City Imprint- Pear. It is also the 2nd release for new Dublin/Berlin based label - Goldbrick Records.
