This song means a lot to me because it reflects who I am as both a person and an artist. I’ve always been drawn to the spiritual world—it makes me question everything: reality, existence, and purpose. Questions like “Why are we here?” and “What is my purpose?” have always driven me. I don’t easily accept what the world tells me; I believe in something deeper—that everything happens for a reason and that the soul’s evolution is key. I want my music to reflect that journey toward higher consciousness.

	  I was raised Christian, with a mother deeply devoted to her faith. Daily prayers and church were part of my upbringing. But over time, through lived experience, I developed my own way of connecting with God—a personal spiritual language. I’ve come to realise that I am the church, and divine energy flows through me. Music has become how I express this connection. I’m simply the vehicle—God is the source and purpose.

	  This energy is everything and nothing at once. It’s in me, my family, the sun, the moon, the signs, and even in strangers. It’s all connected.

	  I wanted the song to explore these existential thoughts and glorify that divine energy in a conversational, prayer-like way. In the pre-chorus, I express how I talk to God and find truth in prayer. I recognise that my sins come from the flesh, but the soul carries the lessons.
  
	  The chorus speaks to the strength I draw from faith. Knowing God is also the Future helps me live freely and creatively, unshackled by societal expectations. My belief gives me the courage to be fully expressive.

	  The second verse contrasts ego and soul—the temporary versus the eternal. Lyrics like “before I turn to dust” remind us of our physical impermanence. Even if no one else believed, I’d still need God to see “clear as water.”

  	  The outro repeats “Energy” as my voice fades and a god-like vocal rises, symbolising divine presence.

Cover of Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. I was pretty depressed when Chris passed away.  The best therapy was for me to play and sing this song.  His vocal phrasings are so so good.  I recorded and played every instrument, including vocals and mixed it.  Drums were played on a Zendrum controller using BFD3.  Guitars were Gibson SG, 335 and Les Pauls.  Bass was a WARR Guitar.  All GTR tones from a Fractal Audio AXE FX II.  Mixed in ProTools 12.  Soundgarden holds the copyright.  I do not wish to profit from this whatsoever.
