Seit seiner Kindheit hat Saalamander eine große Leidenschaft fürs Musiksammeln und gräbt sich nächtelang durch diverseste Musikrichtungen. Tief beeinflusst von allen Arten des Rock, Hip-Hop, Metal und Indie-Folk fand er im Sommer 2021 durch Freund:innen und erste Festivalerfahrungen zur elektronischen Musik. Der Kopfsprung in die Szene hat eine völlig neue Art des Ausdrucks seiner Liebe zur Musik bereitgehalten und es dauerte nicht lange, da stand er selbst hinter den Decks und fand sich tief versunken in der Kollektivarbeit wieder. 
Als Teil des GKS- und KUR-Kollektivs ist die Subkultur Leipzigs ein fester Bestandteil seines Lebens geworden.
Von düster und psychedelisch bis freundlich und bumsig, versteht er das Auflegen als eine Reise durch die Wirrungen seines Musikgeschmackes und liebt vor allem das Entdecken aller Wunder im Ozean der Musik.

Die geheime Zutat wird natürlich nicht verraten, aber so viel sei gesagt: es ist eine Wiener Mélange verbotener Früchtchen, aus der Bass & G-House Kultur, verfeinert mit einem Trancestreusel hier und einem Deep House Häubchen da.
