In 2003 Kiki LeFreak found her dj footing by throwing the legendary Toronto queer party called Juicy. This party was a launching pad for her DJ career. Since then she has played at countless venues and
produced parties like Shango, Hipnosis and A Love Bizarre.

Her DJ sets take the dance floor on a joyful journey that transcends space and time. Kiki’s style is Great Lakes. Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, New York City….Boogie, Disco, House, Electro and New wave.

She has played alongside some of the greats like Dj Greg Wilson, Marcellus Pittman, Osunlade, Alton Miller, Eddie C and Peter Croce. This Summer catch Kiki LeFreak at Sunnyside Pavilion on June 17th
with Dj Harvey and Ali Black.

missKriss's vinyl obsession started over 20 years ago and she's
kept her finger on the pulse of Toronto's underground music
scene ever since.

It's the blend of deep house, heavy bass and tech sounds she's
known for that keep calling her back behind the decks.

Her sets are about building a vibe and setting the mood for a
playful and melodic journey. Expect a cross-genre ride but always a deep sound as the backbone to missKriss’ carefully chosen selections.

Music has always been the driving force of her passion.
Today, she fuses this within her everyday healthcare practice
curating specialized playlists and using various instruments to
elicit sound healing.

You can catch missKriss at wellness driven community events,
festivals in and out of the city and as a regular for Toronto’s
Hippie Market.
Previous gigs have included Parlour, Subdivision, to Hamilton's
Sous Bas and as a rotating resident for Toronto's Sunday
Lazydays streaming platform.

CRBN RADIO 081 - MISSKRISS

Recognized for his Latin influence to the Toronto nightclub scene and combining a chunky tribal-Afro Latino vibe to his repertoire Junior has created a unique blend of his own. Born in Ecuador then moved to Toronto Junior had embraced his adopted home Canada with love and pride. 

Junior started his dj career in 1983 and his eclectic taste for musical influences stretch from Hector Lavoe and the Fania All Stars , Grand Master Flash, Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder and Prince. 

Throughout his 40 year career Junior has worked in many venues all over Toronto and Ontario and has had the privilege of working with numerous high profile international Dj/Producers along with so
many incredible home grown Toronto talent as well. Junior has recently signed with Unrestricted Records and is currently producing his Latin Tech Sound . 

His turntable skills along with his open format and urban experience are something to witness when he is performing live with electronic music and he fuses it all together in the underground nightclub industry.

CRBN RADIO 082 - JUNIOR LOPEZ

Jackman Jones is a house music DJ and producer from Toronto, Canada specializing in deep, soulful, jackin, and garage house. Before getting into house, he started in 2010 as a multi-genre DJ, doing various gigs and radio shows. He has appeared on shows such as the Garagehouse Digital Sessions on houseradio.digital, The Garagehouse Cafe, Just Vibes Radio, Exigo Records Podcast, Elements Of House on Sugar Shack Radio, Radio Studio House, MusicUnite Virtual Music Festival, Groove City Radio 88.6FM, and the House Café Radio on Radio Deep. 

He has had his own radio shows such as The Wednesday Night Shakedown" on Allbeatsradio, the Groove Station, the Mack Jones broadcast, Deep In The Groove and the Soul System show. In 2023, he has a new monthly show called Groove In the House which features the best in Soulful House and Nu Disco/ 

Also in 2013, he started producing remixes for various local artists which led to the forming of the duo Melotika with Mel Yelle In 2018, Jackman released his first EP, Unaware. After the EP was released, the duo went their separate ways to pursue other projects. In 2020, he decided to focus purely on house music. Since then he has been signed to Pure Beats Records, More Than House Records, Badlqqk, Thursday Traxx, Trademark Trax, Kollusion, Deep Fix Recordings, Loyal House, Subtractive, Hive Labe, Midnight Riot, Gimme The Night, Jellyspoon, Soul N Pepa and many others. He has also collaborated with artists such as Venessa Jackson, Swanky, Bruverly Dubs, Col Lawton, Dan Laino, Ed Ramsey, Rebecca Scales and many others. 

2023 will see new collaborations and new music in soulful, nu disco, and garage!!!

SHDW’s label Mutual Rytm rounds out another year with 'Symbiosis' - an excellent split EP from Greek artists ANNĒ & Sera J, featuring six fresh cuts and four digital bonuses.

The release title comes from the Greek word 'συμβίωσις', which means living closely together for a significant period and can be used to speak of a mutually beneficial interaction between individuals. And that is precisely what can be said of ANNĒ and Sera J, who have grown through life as partners and, more recently, as musical peers. This split EP is their first release alongside one another, and one that presents the story of their innermost feelings, with their full label debut following fine contributions to the label's 'Federation Of Rytm II' compilation back in March.

ANNĒ has had a busy few years making her mark with potent techno on labels such as Soma, Hardgroove, and Life In Patterns, while Sera J is just as revered for his tunes on the likes of Out Of Place, DifferentSound and more.

ANNĒ takes the A-side, firstly with the fiery diva vocals and thumping techno drums of 'Heal My Soul' and then the more physical and banging drum programming of 'Turn Back Time'. It's a big, metallic cut with rumbling bass and sleek synths peeling off the groove, while her final track 'Zephyrus' has plenty of infectious bounce and eerie pads to keep dancers on their toes.

On the flip, Sera J kicks off with the electrifying synth stabs and cantering techno power of 'Blue Dancers' and then offers up 'Common People' as twisted leads and slamming drums all run through with alien sound effects and bright stabs. To close, 'Delusion' is a psychedelic cut with roaming leads that bring plenty of cosmic energy to the unrelenting kicks.

In addition, each artist serves up a pair of digital bonuses: ANNĒ with the hurried funk of 'Serene' and loopy intensity of 'Victor', and Sera J with the liquid, dubby dynamics of the hard-hitting 'Intensity' and monstrous energy of 'Bodies Don't Lie.'

Madison DJ set live SXSW - March 2025

SHDW is the phantom moniker of Marco Bläsi, a Stuttgart native with a penchant for racing percussions and big room sounds. 2014 saw the beginning of his long-term partnership with like-minded techno dealer Obscure Shape (Luigi Urban), with whom he co-ran the party series and label spin-off From Another Mind. Ten years later and Bläsi has set out on his own journey, building on a decade-long legacy of sounds with just himself, ‘his music, decks, and a mixer’. Following on from his previous label, he founded Mutual Rytm in 2022, an outlet and creative platform focused on putting out the type of expansive techno SHDW’s come to be known for. His signature style a blend of intelligently superimposed and shuffling basslines, blink of an eye beats that elicit movement and social bonds. Unerring prime time techno, Bläsi’s path forward is looking promising, with a surge of Mutual Rytm releases and worldwide dates, the next ten years look set to further build on what he’s achieved since he started out. Bassiani Podcast 267 is a true to type episode from this master of the genre, a sleek and contemporary spate of rumbling kicks, dizzying effects and hedonic vibrations, a chugging and groovy 65 minute edition with SHDW’s fingerprints all over it.
