After his successful remix of Orion’s “Gravity“ Johannes Volk returns to Polytone with his debut EP. Two excellent techno tracks are in place and a spaced out ambient piece called “It Could Happen“ describes the mysterious view from a spacecraft cockpit into the wideness of the universe. On the 
A-Side Volk blows the whistle of the EP’s title “Asteroid Riding“ with funky chords accompanied by a wide deep bassline, short samples, classic percussions and a cropped stomping kick-drum, that let you ride through the orbit. On the B-Side “Earthbound“ pounds with a broad hollow kick, arpeggiated synth’s, alerting sounds and a harmonically settled type of string-line that eases the element’s diversity like the blue planet’s gravity. Within the tracks that have been built to transport the feel of time and space, Johannes Volk again pushes himself on the cutting edge of electronic music.

Sometimes it s a nice diversion to listen all the sent demos while doing the dishes or cleaning up the mess. It is often 1 out of 100 pearls which is worth to find. So we found the british guy Ryan McCormack. Checking his music makes sure: this artist isn t really a newbie! His productions are on a high level and that s the reason it was easy for him to join the JEAHMON! crew. According to this deep and dark Original track we invited family artist Radeckt ("Point Of No Return") to put his fingers on the track in addition to Stil Vor Talents fast rising artist Several Definitions who had so much fun working on the Original that he finally delivered two versions of his remix. Dresdener Jonas Woehl kicks off the fall season by bringing his driven and melancholic style to Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou imprint for the first time, in the shape of two original tracks and two remixes.

The release opens up with a slow paced, gradually unfolding melody. Lasting is a poised, laid back piece whose dance-inducing groove is fit for the mellower times of a set, ready to wind up the crowd.

Times dives in with a bit more panache, in the same progressively unraveling manner. Using metallic synths and zig-zagging riffs, the artist channels a dark ambient in a highly dynamic composition.

Julian Wassermann swoops in on the remix, turning it into a winding slice of late night Techno that raises pulses and spirits altogether.

Taking on Times, Munich-based Future Proof showcases his remixing chops, having previously released on labels such as Moonboutique, Whatiplay and Bouq. The result is a morphed, jarring rendition of the original, with an emphasis on a bouncy and impetuous bassline.
