As a holiday thanks Secret Sound offers up the most mystical Christmas Song of them all - "Do You Hear What I Hear"

The story is obviously the biblical tale from the book of Luke and others in the New Testament, but we offer a secular interpretation that includes some of the history: The world is in trouble - the forces of nature communicate this vital message to a young person who then conveys this to the politician.... in the case it was King Herod who at first makes the statement that it could be a new era. Like any politician who basically exists in a state of fear this quickly retracted when the evil Romans who really run things in Nazareth, Galilee and especially Jerusalem find out about what could be another voice of dissent.
Let us listen to the children and try to have their simple perception of the world. It is the closest thing to truth that we have. Let us not allow evil forces within us and our world to control the dialogue and decision making. Let us all make kindness our priority. Thank you all for being with us and letting us join you in 2020. We all hope for magical things this coming year.

Their leader Kevin Hill has performed with jazz, rock and fusion legends such as Bob Mintzer, Warren Batiste,  and Bakithi Kumalo. He has performed as an acoustic artist in support of Sting, the Foo Fighters and Neil Young. His songs present an eerie, comedic take on life that is so typically New Jersey. A student of Ted Dunbar, a legendary jazz professor who also instructed the likes of Trey Anastasio and Vernon Reid, HIll's unique approach to electric guitar and performance has made him a sought after solo artist, session musician, performance artist and film score composer.
