One of the most iconic 90s jam gets the Secret Spade Rework treatment! Back in 1993 Salt-N-Pepa & En Vogue combined their powers to give us “Whatta Man”. It become an instant hit reaching the top ten in Australia, New Zealand, the UK & USA.

The Secret Spade Rework very much keep the flavour of the original while adding some popping drums & a baseline throughout. We had to add in a New Orleans Blue piano line on the back half of the track to give it that extra Feel-Good vibes.

Autone & James Alexandr ft. Penelope - Believe (Secret Spade Remix)

Big ups to Jimmy & Hugo for loving this so much that it gets an official release. 

I remember these guys were tinkering on their debut album in the studio next door way back in the 2010s... It was humble beginners for everyone, that studio space in Rushcutters Bay were these tiny rooms side by side and the insulation was sub-par at best. Despite that, everyone on that floor were always hungry and creative. You would get guys routinely ducking in and out of each other's rooms to get feedback on what they would be working on. 

Fast forward 15 or so years and Flight Facilities is now one of the biggest Australian electronic music exports. Anyway, love those guys, have always admired their work, thanks for allowing us this remix.

We've always loved the vocal so  it was fun to put our spin on it. The download is a ZIP with this Radio Edit version & a DJ friendly version.

‘Lust (Let Me Feel)’ is the new electro-pop gem from Secret Spade. It follows on from their single ‘Skyline’ which garnered 4.5 star reviews from triple j and Acid Stag support. Sydney musician and DJ, Marshes provides the emotion-rich and sensual vocals on the track.
 
Lust (Let Me Feel)’ fuses their love of lo-fi house and nostalgic synths, drawing inspiration from their many years of Dj’ing at some of Sydney’s most coveted night spots.
 
Secret Spade (aka Marcus Ng and Johann 'Yogi' Willenberg) commenting on their single today says, “The title says it all, this song is about LUST! Forget Mr/Mrs “Right”, this is about Mr/Mrs “RIGHT NOW”. Your desire for them is real, your obsession is real and you will take them as they come. You cannot and will not hide from this infatuation, you will not run from this LUST!”
 
Merging electronic influences with pop, Secret Spade started as an outlet for the Sydney duo to explore song-based music. Marcus and Yogi says “we wanted to create headphone-focused songs that would stand the test of time and create music that grooves and has all the feels..."
 
There are many edges to each of them that make both Yogi and Marcus their own distinct producers, engineers, songwriters and DJ’s, but they share the common goal of creating captivating beats. They have previously remixed two ARIA no.1 Club Tracks - LO'99 & Marshall F “Fallen (Secret Spade Remix)” & Miguel Campbell & Colour Castle “I Know A Place (Secret Spade Remix)”
