yes definitely a big up on the info.  sick mix and good to know the background info. I remember the flyers for the fantasy FM at the Astoria over the Xmas period. I didn't reach it but tuned into fantasy a lot. Big up Section 23 as well.

I beleive that this was a set recorded by DJ Hype and played on another Fantasy fm dj’s show as the cd/date tape...not sure which... as it had been laying around the studio...I am sure a mate had this with said ad breaks and jingles..

The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.

Originally from Australia although have played throughout Europe in my travels with many memorable gigs - from snow peaked mountain tops in Austria to playing on a boat in the canals of Amsterdam. 
Djing since 96 mainly underground warehouse events &amp; bars but also radio, clubs, snowboard comps, restaurants, boats &amp; beach parties. I was a regular Dj at the Globe in Sydney circa 99/2000, considered one of the top clubs in Sydney at the time. I ran a 3 hour late night radio show called 'Green Decks &amp; Ham' on 2SER in 2000.
Have lived in London, Austria, New Zealand, California &amp; Berlin since 2004.
 Variations of house, minimal &amp; techno tend to be where I dwell for the most part in regards to what I play, although my collection of obscure world music is always growing and is constantly at battle with my wallet. I also have a pretty mean collection of 92-93 hardcore breakbeat/ jungletekno in which I use the dj name Deltashelta.
ONLY PLAY VINYL &amp; still buy it if I think it will stand the test of time.
