Fresh from his success with the ‘Bassline Thumpin’ EP, Harley D is back on the Serial Killaz label for another fresh instalment of future jungle. The selection on the ‘Bud Business’ EP is nothing short of mind blowing so strap in, hold tight and watch the ride.

‘The Jungle’ comes straight in with full on blockbuster movie vibes. Atmospheric overload right from the tap of the start button to the point where Harley D really pulls out all the stops to fully embrace your ears. A combination of classic hardcore breaks, distorted drawn out lead bass notes and a ton of vocal stabs to really make you feel like you have either lost the plot or are actually stuck inna jungle.

Title track ‘Bud Business’ flexes out a calmer tone, introducing Harley’s swing step into the mix alongside ragga vocals and smoothed out pads. It’s a versatile beast this one, aimed at the dancefloor under a heavy haze of weed smoke and green lazers. ‘Bad’ brings forth that ever present Purge drone alongside a modulating low end sine wave that's bound to cause every single window in your street to vibrate. Cheeky vocal stabs and chord pads create tension in the mix.

‘You Feel’ may well remind you a little of ‘Hyperspace’ depending on how you’re listening to it. Stuck in a mind vortex? If not, you may well be after this one. 2 step breaks, dreamy female vox and layers of bass take you on a sonic trip from the off. Rewind and come again! Sliding into the outro with ‘Check This’ which sets precedent for future Serial Killaz outings with a tough as nails lead bassline that rips through speaker boxes like a chainsaw and then some. Like dubstep at 175? This one you.

his November we have the 6th release for Section 63 Recordings, brainchild of DnB producers Guzi and Woolfe. Section 63 Recordings was created to give a platform to release music heavily influenced by the nineties rave scene. Old school rave with a modern twist. 

Sadly JDizz tragically lost his life last month. He was taken from us far too young and was incredibly talented. One of the 2021s breakthrough acts of the recent jungle revival. We hope the scene will help his name live on by spinning these tracks in raves for years to come.

Having a cameo appearance on 'Club Sessions Vol. 7', plus their first solo release on Liquid V ‘Step It To 'Em (Booyaka) / Run Dis’, Unkoded make their Chronic debut.

The ‘Selection Box’ EP is evidence of their shift towards a more dancefloor focused sound with amen-slapping tracks such as ‘Truss’ and ‘Inna Jungle’, but with tracks such as ‘Wax It’ showing they’re still dedicated on keeping the groove locked.

Respected artists within their own rights, Kodan and Unkut have previously released on major labels such as Ram, Solvent, Liquid V and Full Cycle and are now joining forces as 'Unkoded' to deliver their own take on soulful, rolling jungle.

It’s been a minute since the last Section 23 release so we thought you deserved a bit of a treat with this one. Presenting the ‘Incidents’ EP, out everywhere on 25th February 2022.

Delving deep into the archives, the legendary Mark XTC brings a previously unreleased DAT to the mix with a mid 90’s jump up slammer. ‘Check Da Switch’ has everything you could possibly want from a wobbly, fun filled Reebok Classic sole burner. It’s mashed up Amen breaks and lead bassline straight from the Joker Records School of low end combines perfectly to take you back in time to the days of Helter Skelter and even Section 23’s very own parties.

Of course we had to include both Max Baker and Erritate in this EP, not only for their individual production styles but also because they are both bloody good at what they do. Max’s infection ‘Incidents’ is already causing a whirlwind on dub and if you know of his previous releases across various labels, you will no doubt love this minimalist two step affair. 

Erritate brings two tracks to the party; an early 90’s rave inspired twist up ‘Ten Sixths’ full of wonky stabs and fierce drums plus ‘Be Mine’ which also calls on the good old days with a lovely chunky synth riff and female vocal stabs. Jamie S23 mixes piano keys, sliced and diced breakbeats, some legendary MC samples plus trademark basslines in a nod to ‘92. If you’re lucky enough to play on commercial airwaves, a clean version is also included! ‘That Free Party Last Week’ will have you reaching for your lighter in seconds.
