Carlito & Addiction are both artists who have been at the forefront of D&B ever since its original movement, with residencies at two London club nights that helped shaped the scene we all know and love today - Speed (later Swerve) and Movement.  When not out on the road, they were in the studio crafting some the most prolific music in D&B’s golden era, such as ‘Supergrass’ on Defunked Records and ‘Just Wanna Be’ for Fabio’s Creative Source. 
  
The duo played a vital role in shaping the more musical side of Drum and Bass and are frequently referenced as a source of inspiration by emerging talent. Having reunited after a long absence from the scene they announce their return with a single on DJ Marky’s Innerground imprint, and they’re now back in the studio working on new music. Having never graced the label before Bryan Gee knew he had to get them involved this time around and we’re delighted to welcome them to V Recordings. ’Spinner’ and ‘Rain On Me’ shine with classic V Recordings atmospheres, both with heavy sub undertones, this is a serious release for serious people.

With Quarter to Quarter, a compilation of cutting edge Drum & Bass music, the label further solidifies its reputation and unique vision.

Never doing things the fast and easy way, the album was put together and nurtured by A&R and founder Lenzman over the course of 18 months.

Lenzman explains: “Way back when I first got into music, I wanted to share that magic with others. Today that same urge still endures within me. With this album I've tried to bring together a group of artists with whom I have shared values, who have never been brought together in this way, and create a timeless statement of intent."

‘H25PITAL’ embarks on a journey throughout the past, present and future of Hospital Records, featuring the likes of Dillinja, S.P.Y, Flava D, DJ Marky, Unglued, Makoto, Loxy & Ink, Mitekiss, Nookie and more. Their quarter-century birthday commemorations raise the bar once again as a variety of sounds and styles come together for a 174BPM compilation like no other.

DRS & Dynamite, two legends who have taken the scene by storm with their collaborative outfit, team up with Logistics for a new-wave remix of the 2009 heater ‘Jungle Music’. An instantly recognisable anthem to any drum & bass fan and an undeniable staple in the Hospital Records back catalogue, ‘Beautiful Lies’ by B-Complex gets the remix treatment from L-Side who’s been making moves with the V Recordings crew. Expect a collision of sonic realms in Halogenix’s remix of Kings Of The Rollers’ infamous ‘Shella (feat. Chimpo)’.
