Skepta - Red Bull Music Academy UK Tour Manchester 2015

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting figures to arise within Drum & Bass over the past decade, Rouen Wilkins, also known as Voltage, has carved his way to becoming one of the most valued artists in the scene. With a style so versatile yet so distinct, it’s no surprise that Voltage finds himself championing the modern sounds of Drum & Bass as a highly respected pioneer and industry figurehead. He's made so many waves that he's crowned as DnB royalty - Voltage makes up 1/3 of Kings of the Rollers, alongside Serum and Bladerunner.

For the special set, we we're celebrating his NEW release "Mousetrap / Champion Ting" which launched his label - Nice n Decent.  

The set starts off with him playing a load of reggae on 7 inch vinyl and then swiftly progresses into him dropping DnB bangers!! What a day we had in store!

Zed Bias, is an English electronic musician based in Manchester, who operates within the UK Garage/2-Step, Broken Beat and UK Funky genres, as a producer and as a DJ. He has also released material under various pseudonyms including Maddslinky and is one half of the duo Phuturistix. A seriously talented producer and DJ, who has been shaping the electronic music scene in the UK since the early 90s.

Specialist Moss is an unsung hero of the electronic music scene. A West London OG, he started to MC on a local prirate radio station (Transmission 1) at a young age. He was a prevalent MC through Jungle and DnB's come up. He's also pushed his production, working with Clipz, Redlight, Voltage, Zed Bias, Mr Williamz, Shy Fx, to name a few. As a regular at the shop, he has always supported us and the sets we put on. We're just glad we finally got him to host him!

Never a dull moment here folks, definitely in the top 3 mixes for 2025 here on Sound Stream Sessions.
