Section's 3rd remix ep of 2011 brings fresh interpretations of the classic Tripswitch cut “Collider”, originally released on the “Illuminations” compilation on Youth's Liquid Sound label in 2006. A fat breaks track peppered with tribal percussion, violin & Sasha-esque synths, the track was an instant hit with those in the know, & Section is happy to be able to answer 4 years of requests for a single release with a remastered version & an awesome package of re-licks from another dream list of producers. With the last two remix eps from Section gaining support from Orbital, Groove Armada, Mumdance, Matt Darey, Soundprank, Kiss FM & Ninja Tunes Black Steel, & great reviews in Mixmag, iDJ & Tillate, this next instalment hits the spot once again & promises to be one of the must-have eps of the summer.

The mixes
Godfather of progressive house Nick Warren delivers an exquisitely-produced groover for mix 1, that's so hypnotic it leaves you wondering what planet you've been on for the past 9 minutes! New Zealand masters of minimal Fiord bring us a deep, rolling, groovy-ass tech-house workout for mix 2, while Section favourite Aurtas turns the mood on its head with an upbeat, strictly house rework with lashings of melody & good vibes injected around the original elements for the third mix. Richard Kegg aka Purple pulls the track back to its moody roots with a psychedelic growler that twists the original sounds in brutal ways, creating a glitched-up tech-trance belter of supreme quality, and for mix 5 Seb Taylor (Shakta, Digitalis, Kaya Project, Hibernation) gives Section one of the rare & sought-after productions under his tech-house alias 'Biotone'. Closing the ep, label boss Nick Brennan provides another Codemonkey re-rub, delivering a super-deep dubstep version that's more spacious than an estate agent's imagination!

Tosca is the joint musical project of Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber from Vienna, Austria. Their output - including albums like "Opera“ (1996), "Suzuki“ (1999), "Dehli 9“ (2002) and "No Hassle" (2010) are considered milestones of the downtempo genre. The musical trademark of Tosca is a cheerful laid-back feel that emanate a warm, and occasionally melancholic atmosphere. The music of Tosca is played in clubs and living rooms, boutiques and wineries alike. A feat that only few musicians succeed in.

AUDIOGLIDER made his debut mix for radiOzora included three tracks from his upcoming album Subaquamarine coming soon on Section Records.

A teen in the eighties, with dodgy haircuts to match, he saw Kraftwerk supported by the Human League on the Computer Love tour (he even got to play the calculator for a brief moment) , and straightaway fell in love with electronic music.
AUDIOGLIDER’s first break came with two exclusive tracks on Nick Warren’s GU30 Paris, to much critical acclaim, quickly followed by two EPs, Halcyon and Slight Return and remixes on Glenn Morrison’s digital label Morrison Recordings. Since then, it’s been a blur of releases and remixes on Renaissance, Sudbeat, Stripped Recordings, 238W, Hydrogen, Soundteller, Mistique, Stellar Fountain, Sleepless Nights, ASIP, and of course a full artist album, Accidental Beauty, on Tripswitch’s mighty Section Records. Straddling with equal aural dexterity between progressive house / dancefloor vibes, and more shoegaze /downtempo excursions, Audioglider is preparing to release his second full album, returning to Section’s stable for late May/June release. Entitled Subaquamarine, its a widescreen, wide ranging affair, and you can hear a couple of previews in his set for radiOzora.

Close your eyes, and be swept away in these sonic soundstages… this sound is so visual you can almost reach out and touch it.
