Sedilia is the birth child of musician-producer Tom Goodger, the guitarist and co-writer to Toby Sebastian's hit single, 'Midnight' - featuring Florence Pugh.

Paired with producer Andrea Lepori and co-founder Michael McCubbin, the band started drafting demos in late 2022 from their East London studio, heavily inspired by retrospective memories and 70s to mid-2000s pop and rock.

"Out Of Shape", their first release with Milk It Records, tells a story that juxtaposes carefree and absent-minded luxury city living ("we're sunbathing all the time") with the reality of a world on fire ("and we haven't got a hose"). Simply put, an imaginary yet self-aware exploration of carefree times.

"Senses" is Sedilia’s second single, offering a deeper glimpse into the band’s evolving sound. Driven by lyrics from Michael McCubbin and Anna Stokes, the track explores the raw emotions of a breakup, carried by a pulsing groove that pushes the listener forward. Opening with melancholic guitar lines and a sense of quiet reflection, it gradually builds into a surge of lush synths and searing guitar solos, mirroring the shift from heartbreak to release. Senses captures that turning point when realization gives way to freedom, delivering a visceral journey through shifting emotional landscapes.
