PHXLIGHTS Altered Orbit Set (2022)

The Mile High City has become renowned as one of the biggest homes of bass music and Stryer is an artist currently climbing the ranks of the scene who calls it home. Winning over newfound fans early on with releases like "Drown" with Mary Sweet and "Mine" with Fadead, he's since landed on Subsidia and went on to foster a deeper connection with Bear Grillz and his imprint, Rude Service.

First appearing on Rude Service back in 2021, Stryer has dropped a flurry of releases on the bass-fueled label that include the Propagation EP and collaborations such as "Apollo" with Sentient and WISNER. These have helped show off the dynamic range this rising artist brings to his productions, and he's only continued to impress in 2022. Kicking off the year by teaming up with Bear Grillz and Meg & Dia for "Float" and following that up with "Come On" with VLCN and the Full Moon EP, it's become more clear with each passing release that Stryer is an artist to watch.

Last month, Stryer delivered "Under The Tide" with SOUNDR and then double-downed on the summer fun that will ensue by dropping "Fall For Me Again" with Robbie Rosen this past Friday. Tyler Shiffer (also known by his stage name Phocust) is an American bass music producer and DJ, most commonly recognized for his melodic wobbles and signature Dubstep growls. His unique style has gained support from the likes of Ace Aura, Chime, Boogie T, Dirt Monkey, SubDocta, Jantsen, Doctor P, FuntCase, and many more. Playing at a number of clubs and festivals around the globe, Phocust has shared the bill with many recognizable acts such as deadmau5, Tiësto, ILLENIUM, Adventure Club, Riot Ten, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Flux Pavilion, Wooli, among others.
Growing up in the underground rave scene in Denver, Colorado, Shiffer got his roots in the industry of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) firmly planted. In 2021 Phocust seemed to ride a new wave with his old-school wobble sound, landing two major EPs on both SubCarbon and DramaClub. First was his Entheos EP featuring another signature collaboration with Canadian-based MC Clinton Sly. Following that he released a massive 6-track EP entitled King, featuring his famous collaborations "Touch the Sky" with Green Matter and "Spirit Scope" with Notixx. Turning the chapter now to 2022, Tyler has started working alongside the legendary Circus Records debuting on the label with his Pneuma EP. Featuring his debut single "Digital Love" and "Vessel" with labelmate Ipsiom, Pneuma shows another side of the Phocust sound, this time with a bit more Heavy/Melodic influence. Phocust is a rising star in today’s electronic music scene and is definitely one to keep your eye on!

Sedona, also known as SED'S VORTEX, has always had a deep passion for music. From an early age, she fell in love with the art of singing and expressing herself through sound. Before she began her journey as an artist, Sedona worked as an audio engineer at the infamous Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN after graduating from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2018, where she studied multiple facets of audio engineering. During this time, she also co-formed and co-founded an independent label, "Never Strangers Records," where she featured various artists that she produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered tracks for. In 2020, Sedona began to dive into her own artistry by writing original lyrics, recording her own vocals, increasing her knowledge of music production, elevating her sound design, and solidifying her brand as an electronic music producer, vocalist, and DJ. Even though she’s only been pursuing music and DJing for a few years, her unique singles, “SOUL SUCKA,” “CRYSTALLIZED,” “LEAVING TOO,” “FUCK THE SYSTEM,” “FALLING,” and “RUN THE BLOCK,” combined with her electrifying live performances, foreshadow a bright future for this aspiring musician.
