For our ninth installment of our Free Download Series we welcome the french artist heading from Paris: KAIPE! 

Influenced by 90s/2000 and modern techno, KAIPE started mixing in Paris 5 years ago as part of the La Brigade collective. He concentrated on production 2 years ago, because he always wanted to make music. His musical style ranges from driving, deep techno to emotional, funky hardgroove, with a touch of oldschool thrown in for good measure.

This track started when I was recording my masterclass for the Home of Sound website. It felt like a real honour to share what I know on this well-known platform, where you can learn from great artists like Rødhåd, Setaoc Mass, Temudo, and now me.

I finished making the track because I really liked it. The name came from how I often get ideas when I'm out in clubs, mostly in Berlin these days. I always pay close attention to the music, noticing the details and cool things happening. Sometimes I even write notes on my phone about what the music is doing in the club, so I can use those ideas later to make my own tracks better.

Learning never stops, and techno is the same – it's always here. You can download the track for free and support me straight away on my Bandcamp page.

Also, this track fits perfectly with the darker, more hypnotic style I have right now. I'm very happy with how this one turned out and it's cool to share it with you. I'm sure it will work really well on the dancefloor.

Dictent Vroom plays hypnotic, avant-garde techno with a driving sound, inspired by his travels, which translates into a deep journey each time he steps behind the booth. This is evident in his productions, where he always pays great attention to detail, creating complex, textured sounds.

It has also led him to perform in a number of French and Parisian clubs, and to throw his own parties, where he showcases his own vision of this music.

Known for his unmistakable sound and a catalog that includes releases on Soma, Mutual Rytm and his own label BEK Audio, his music carries weight, but always with a focus on groove and movement.

For this mix, Gary invites us into his creative world with a selection made up almost entirely of unreleased personal material (some of it might be landing sooner than you think - so keep those ears open!)👂. A raw, rolling journey that reflects how he approaches DJing: direct, honest, and flowing from start to finish.
