I mixed a a 6/4 time signature with 3/4 and added a 4/4 just for good measure.

I took the title and spun it on its head a little, this song is for anyone who is in a situation where they feel trapped in their own home.

This was for my GYAW cue Help. I couldn' t think of anything so googled help and it came back with some wikipedia articles about the help command in operating system. This gave me the idea of using tech in the lyrics. I thought I would make it topical and write it about what I envisage homeschooling will be like for me when my daughter grows up i.e. Dad how do you .... and I go away and use a search engine to find the answer.

I am desperate to try and get this synthwave style nailed. I'll keep trying but this is closest I've got to what I want ... so far.

now and then
I think back to when
days were spent
finding rules that could be bent

I think of all the hours
wasted away this way
passing time by messing around
at the video game arcades

I don't think that we should regret
living for the moment
playing out the strength our heads
we might have got into trouble
but it would have been good trouble
