'Shotgun Soliloquy (Ragga Remix)' gives you yet another peek into WAKE THE CITY, the budding musical collaboration between Guante and SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE. This "premix" of sorts is a remix of a track that has yet to be released. That's just how we get down at the Boombox Emporium. The Rube's simultaneously throwback and forward-thinking production suits the rappers' boombap tendencies perfectly. Expect to hear more funky concoctions from these three in the future, probably sooner than you think!

Just in time for Episode 7, SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE presents “Land of the Sandpeople”

While there’s no shortage of reference-dropping sci-fi-oriented rap out there, few MCs have been able to bridge an authentic love for geek culture with an authentic love for hip hop like SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE does on “Land of the Sandpeople.” Produced by Nye and featuring a guest verse from fellow hip hop vet Guante, the track samples the iconic music associated with the Tusken Raiders, creating a bone-snappingly percussive backdrop for See More and Guante to trade punchlines that would be venomous with or without the Star Wars references.

Sex Tape In Purple: A Conversation with Prince

'Everything that is Good' is from the album 'Sex Tape in Purple', a musical conversation with Prince, wherein SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE recreates his sex ed boom-bap classic 'SEX TAPE' over Prince interviews and music. This song was a bonus track, and did not appear in any form on the original album. On the surface, it's a romantic song about attraction, longing, desire, and even a simple crush. But dig a little deeper, and you'll find more.

'Everything that is Good' is an exploration of consent as a starting point; showing that consent opens a door, but also asks us to consider what makes any sort of intimacy really, truly good. As a mediation on attraction, and ultimately sex, as acts of humanity, 'Everything that is Good', imagines honesty, sensitivity, and yes, love, at the center of all human interaction. Whether a casual encounter or the start of something else, SEE MORE believes that we can offer each other everything that is good from the start, including communication about where we want to go as individuals learning each other and sharing space.

They reprimand wackness. This is the love story between heritage and irreverence, the make out session between education and rebellion. A fist fight between what is and whats possible. A heavy blow from sound logic upon hateful ignorance. Love over fear.

SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE has been described as a “Chicago Institution”, “Walking creativity” and “The hardest working, most unjustly slept on artist in the Twin Cities”....This award winning hip hopper is a Twin Cities Native, Chicago transplant, MC, Poet, Producer, Engineer, Educator, Visual Artist, Actor, Thinker, Lover and one hell of a cook. He also received a 2013 VERVE Grant from Intermedia Arts, was a semi-finalist of the Saint Paul Challenge for the Million dollar idea to make Saint Paul Great. SEE MORE is currently on the TruArtSpeaks and COMPAS Arts MN artist rosters and is a member of the faculty at the West Bank School of Music, teaching, rap, spoken word, hip hop music production, and social justice.
