Rescoring them with modern instruments/technology greatly increases listening quality. It was a blast to figure out how the songs were built up back then. Taking some liberties in creating my own versions of those songs was the ultimate goal.

"Deep Blue" was a hard track to recreate. I had a particular problem with finding the correct sound for the main motif. I ended up going for a combination of Bassoon and Bombarde. Ever heard of a Bombarde? Neither did I! Very happy with the end result.

Welcome to the soundscape of 1998!

I always thought that "On the Battlefield" had a strange name for a song that was supposedly played in battle. It has a spring in its step that gives an adventurous vibe. Nonetheless, I tried evolving the song to a minimum. I tried adding some percussion that is only heard on a battlefield, keeping in theme with its name.

"At Court" is a reimagination of Mozart's Sonata No. 11 in A Major. Its clear that the original composer took quite some inspiration from Mozart and likeminded composers.
