Tod Dockstader's Aerial series, an electronic/drone masterpiece, is cherished among fans of the artist's work and this first volume is available in a double LP edition of 500 copies with 100 copies on clear vinyl exclusively for Imprec mailorder customers. 

     15 years in the making, Tod Dockstader's Aerial series is sourced from his life long passion for shortwave radio. Dockstader collected over 90 hours of recordings, made at night, and comprised of cross signals and fragments plucked from the atmosphere.

       Opening with airwave drones, Dockstader gradually allows elements to slowly come and go, summoning an ominous atmosphere of ethereal cloud clouds. Malignant placidity continues, giving the feeling of eavesdropping upon late-night audio activity not unlike discovering number stations while sweeping the dials. These sounds pull you in as their density and rhythms come and go. 
 
      Backward voices, deep echoing choruses of conversations flowing under the surface, ocean sounds, pulsing electro-rhythms, all seem to be created via the collaging of many hours of source recordings. A masterwork of collage and juxtaposition by an overlooked pioneer of American electronic music. 

Artwork by John Brien (Imprec) is inspired by the propagation of shortwave radio signals throughout the earth's atmosphere.

Meira Asher’s work challenges accepted conventions of practice and genre, even within the supposed open-minded circles of the Avantgarde. A composer, performer and Human Rights activist, she freely oscillates between, through and beyond the fields of Sound art and Radio art. In the past 20 years her artistic practice has been focusing on in-depth and long- term projects, and she has been working assiduously, amassing many different projects in different veins. She is the producer of the independent Radioart show radioart106 since 2014 and a former lecturer at Haifa university's Art School (2012-22). Her works were released on Crammed, Sub Rosa, Auditorium, Raash Records and Ultima Ratio labels, but mostly independent through her own platforms. Her recent works include TANSIKتنسيق for Radio Reina Sofia Madrid, a Hebrew version of Antonin Artaud’s radio essay Pour en finir avec le jugement de Dieu and Sonic Voyage of Resistance for Radio Art Zone.

Lolo is a thriving artist in Akron, Cleveland and Detroit. From DJ ing, painting, art curator and entrepreneur. Lolo is a well rounded artist who began developing her own brand ten years ago. She began with a show called Friday Night Mix this later evolved to the LOLO KNOWS Club Kid Mix Series where she showcases regional and worldwide talent. Her shows are available in multiple streaming platforms including iHeartRadio, MixCloud, SoundCloud, ITunes and more.
For the last 5 years, she has broadened her reach with her partnership with Charivari Detroit Music Festival and continues to grow with them as they share the same values. Although 2020 was a challenging year, LOLO’s career didn’t stop. She did some virtual festivals including: Ingenuity Festival Cleveland, The Arctic Blast Virtual Festival hosted by Two Tails, Charivari Worldwide Festival, Bad Table Manners Detroit with Detroit legend and Internationally known DJ and Producer Terrence Parker. She is now a regular DJ on Shades of Blu on Farris Wheel TV based out of Chicago. She also does a live mix weekly for Essential Clubbers Radio based out of the UK every Thursday.
