CLOON es el nuevo fichaje de SEEKING THE VELVET, el sello de la Dj y productora Cora Novoa. “Saw Knives” da título al nuevo EP de techno experimental del dúo hispalense.

Los dos artistas Hermän Priet y Lacob, muy conocidos dentro de la escena de clubbing sevillana, se unieron en 2004 para crear CLOON, un proyecto de techno experimental cargado de ritmos vibrantes y secuencias infinitas.

El EP se compone de cuatro potentes cortes que nos transportan a la pista de baile a través de percusiones techno, grooves oscuros y voces sampleadas. Sutiles melodías de fondo que nos llevan a un ambiente hipnótico, y que se convierte en imprescindible para los amantes del techno más vibrante y mental.

En esta ocasión, presentamos en exclusiva la premiere de 'Petit Marie', un track progresivo dentro del espectro electro, con voces evocadoras que lo acercan a ese estilo electroclash del que hablábamos antes. Un track punk, canalla y listo para hacerte bailar.

Mixmag Spain presenta  en exclusiva un nuevo mix a cargo de Mechudo.  La formación de este dúo madrileño se remonta a 2018. Tras un viaje al festival ADE donde Nacho Tourmalet y JAVILOSTCONTROL deciden crear el proyecto electrónico Mechudo, después de haber formado parte de la banda de noise rock “Tourmalet”.

 En 2019 lanzan el doble single "Digitisierte Schleife / Ágyptische Göttin", elegido por MondoSonoro como una de las mejores autoediciones del verano. Continúan con su trayectoria en 2020, a pesar de ser un año maldito, con las publicaciones de los singles "COVID-19" y "Benidorm 1984”. Demostrando así que ni una pandemia iba a frenar sus ganas de crear música, llegando de esta manera a SKTVT , sello de Cora Novoa para su lanzamiento más esperado hasta la fecha: ‘Le Miroir’ EP.

Un mix donde nos dejamos llevar hacia tracks que no faltan en nuestros sets, así como otros más experimentales que han formado parte de nuestro proceso creativo para Unfamiliar. Sonidos con texturas y mezclas muy diferentes, pero todos con el mismo patrón de IDM, acid, techno o electro que siempre nos ha caracterizado".

“Mental Diary” is a mental journal that recounts the artist’s life experiences over the past year, a metaphor for the personal and professional changes that led her to experiment with a darker and colder form of composition. The album’s three acts were developed completely analogically between London and Barcelona and are based on the use of modular synthesizers and drum machines. Their use invokes a bleak landscape and reflects Novoa’s characteristic sound.
